qasar80, 02 Apr 2022guys, please, would you change a little the standard phrase... moreI personally wouldn never buy a phone without jack or microSD slot. Like YUKI said, TWS are really not up to the standart when comparing to wired headphones. Recently I bought a pair of KZ IEM's from AliExpress for about 15€, brand new and trust me, they are way ahead than many 70-100€ TWS. And they don't need to be charged every 4-6 hours, how about that? Sadly, I've sold my LG V20, big mistake. But I'm thinking about getting a new V60, for the QuadDac alone. V50/G8x is also good but has a smaller battery.

Hope this thing never be implemented, then these providers will charge you for sim change or implements a sim removal plan ,we'll loose our freedom to change any device and they just brag about the security and spacing ,blah blah blah and some people even follow them blindly

YUKI93, 02 Apr 2022Lol, "old and outdated"? That so-called "old... moreI suppose each one of us have different opinions and requirements from our smartphones and I am sure there is one phone for everyone of us. I don't care much for micro SD ,audio jack or top of game cameras but I want high battery life with low temperature and medium to high processor. Plastic or glass body.. the same for me. But a solid 12 GB of RAM, at least 256 GB memory, good screen..very important. Anyway, we can only choose from what we have. Also I do respect other people views, just the wooden language "no micro sd no buy" amuses me.

My parents aren't true tech enthusiasts or audiophiles in any sort of way, and yet they can easily tell the difference when I let them use their headphones on my phone. It's a complete night and day difference for them.

qasar80, 02 Apr 2022guys, please, would you change a little the standard phrase... moreLol, "old and outdated"? That so-called "old and outdated" tech is still WAY more reliable than modern wireless solutions. I used to be in the wireless audio ship before and I never have any single day where I miss my old wireless Bluetooth headphones. I don't have to worry about recharging it every four to six hours after continuous usage and use another charger for it. If anything, I'm buying a brand new studio-grade headphone to complement my LG V50's superb built-in Quad DAC audio. It's the same story with microSD card support. I never rely on cloud storage all the time since there are still lots of places with little to no internet connection in the first place. Having the ability to use a microSD card in any remote place proved to be very helpful and super useful. After all, I don't have to do monthly payments for my own personal storage as I can easily get a 512GB microSD card for not more than a one-off price of $70. Try doing that with cloud storage.
Oh btw, "...they are in fact holes in the phone's body which affect the water and dust resistance..."? LG Mobile people are laughing in their graves right now hearing such nonsense.

Anonimo, 02 Apr 2022You are really naive if you thing the things you mention ha... moreWhatever the reason, they will disappear....I do have a hunch that the makers do not have in mind the consumers interest first on their list but they are the ones making the phones and the software, so we have only two choices, buy or "no jack no buy". :)))) One thing is what we wish and another is what we get.

qasar80, 02 Apr 2022guys, please, would you change a little the standard phrase... moreYou are really naive if you thing the things you mention have disappeared because of issues with water resistance. They have disappeared because the manufacturers make more money this way.
