Make the camera lens bump out more so it can scratch even more easily.

Anonymous, 15 Apr 2022Also add 8GB ram. It isn't hard to do.They already have 16GB in the iPad, so it's not hard for them to add 8GB in the iPhone this year.

Anonymous, 15 Apr 2022Ah yes, the ever overused argument "it's because ... moreYeah wonder how many of them actually keep it for 5+ yrs!!
And I'd assume hardly 1/3rd would even cite that reason of "outstanding s/w support" for buying an iphone.
You all simply assume as if once support ends, a(n android) phone simply becomes a useless paperweight!

--insert meme of guy sitting on chair with poster on the table in front of him reading-"s/w updates/support are overrated! CHANGE MY MIND!

I had been using a $250 phone for 4 yrs until mid-'21, and I didn't face any usability/experience breaking bugs/malware/ransomware/virus, etc or EoL/outdated statements, even though it still ran Android 7.0 with March'17 patch. I could've continued using it for longer if I could get a genuine battery and digitizer replacements in my country, but sadly the 3rd party ones weren't upto scratch, especially the battery.
So if you'd said that people buy iphones for long-term h/w or replacement parts support (helped by the fact that they still use the same/similar parts for ages like the "new" SE-'22), I'd have chimed in as well, and agreed that it is a genuine USP (despite their anti-RTR stance and actions).

ICYMI, h/w advances far more rapidly than s/w (not often in Apple land tho)!
So, many (android people or generally people outside US since they barely have any choice in a "free-market") folks would feel that their handset itself feels outdated h/w-wise after 4+ yrs, rather than clamouring that oh this UI is so old, wish I could get something else (you can on Android through launchers btw or for advanced users, there are custom ROMs).
And I don't get it what has massively changed about the ios look in the past decade or so, that everyone seems to be loving the 5+ yrs of updates! It still looks and functions the same, with some new features sprinkled in! Then people would say it's bcuz it should feel familiar so that customers don't get confused, etc, LMAO!🤣

And no, it’s Apple themselves who claim to have perfected the various technologies they are ‘late’ to adopt, you just seem happy to conflate that with their customers, who for the most part simply buy (and enjoy) their iPhones whilst avoiding this whole increasingly pointless yet never ending Android vs iPhone debate with the same enthusiasm as they do the plague.

It was a phone for work and terrible compared to Android. I hated the experience so much I turned the Apple phone into my employer and used my personal phone instead. My experience with my Galaxy S phones has been much, much better than that experience with an iPhone.

You could not even pay me to use an iPhone now.
