There are phones with bigger screens than your p40 lite that are as tall or even shorter than your phone and have good battery life. That is what you should look at.

Som... moreActually, the iPhones 12 onwards already record at 4K 120 fps but then reduce the frame rate by a sort of merging or a binning technique to bring it down to 60 fps.
They do it to make the video smoother and to reduce file size (120 fps would take a lot of storage).

I for example hate gestures. They are silly.
If I wanted to have iphone, I would buy SE2 or 8+, never the notched ones.

They just have a phone and that's their center of entertainment for everything. Big display makes consumption of that easier... it's not exactly rocket science.
For the rest of the world, they are highly impractical unless you specifically need that. I mean, I don't need an oversized phone when I can watch movies on my 4K TV or browse on my 27" monitor... But 6" smartphone does just fine for scrolling through Reddit and browsing for that item on the go or write a mail or two...

Right GSMArena because an SoC that in virtually every other regard is either equal to or ahead of the competition needs extra processing power to handle 8K video….🤦♂️
I’d bet my back teeth the A15 and likely even the A14 can already quite readily handle the processing load for 8k video capture, it’s simply not possible on 12mp sensors.

Grab 13 mini while there are stock in market. Iphone mini failed, at least sales wise. That's why Apple killed it this year. IMO 14 and 14 pro like mini phone a few years ago.
With 19:5 and 6,1" diagonal screen.

But no periscope, no buy. Sorry.I agree. But that reminds me of something a little concerning.
I believe Huawei and Vivo are the companies that make the smallest phones with periscope cameras; Case in point is the Vivo X50/60 Pro+ and Huawei P30/40/50 Pro. And they hover around the 6.5-inch area. Samsung doesn't slap periscopes onto anything apart from their Ultra phones, and even then, when opened, we discover that they take a colossal amount of space.
I'm really worried that Apple will also face a space problem and make it so that only the 14 Pro Max will have the periscope. But, this is anyone's guess at the moment; the Xperia 5 III was able to fit one, though it was a smaller and less capable lens.
