The Xiaomi 12 Ultra will retain the camera specs of its predecessor

A leaked case seemingly also confirms the design.

Can`t wait for tomorrow when this phone supposed to be revealed. I`ll either buy this or the vivo x80 pro plus if it exists

Nobody notices that the 10x zoom range is actually misleading as per Xiaomi's description?

The 12mm is the ultrawide camera lens, while the main camera should be somewhere around 24 to 26mm or whatever. Normally, the main sensor should be the basis for the starting point (1x) of how much zoom the periscope camera lens can reach based on its focal length, but Xiaomi used the ultrawide camera lens's focal length (12mm) as the starting point in describing the magnification level of the periscope camera lens instead of the main camera lens (somewhere around 24mm to 26mm).

If we were to be using the main camera lens as the starting point for the magnification level of the periscope camera, then it should only be approximately 5x zoom instead of 10x (24mm-120mm).

Going to USB/bluetooth means you are free to swap out whatever type of DAC you want rather than being stuck to whatever the vendor decided to include in the phone. In fact, those clamoring for SD expansion because it reduces obsolescence makes it doubly mind boggling about wanting the 3.5 jack.

It's good to see these companies are taking it slow slow nd taking optimization seriously, especially Samsung

Am sure Xiaomi repeated camera hardware just because Samsung did

The Xiaomi ultra phone has always been a phone created to beat Samsung ultra every year

They ALMOST did last year 2021

The jack has never went away truly because audio is inherently analogue and always will be, it just has been moved elsewhere in a embedded position with the objective to nickle and dime you, and you'll even defend that because you've been told to without even analysing the merit of the question.

In short, you're what they call a "useful idiot".

that mean smartphones camera is already at peak, need few more years to be better than today. just buy real camera than crying in a phones with bad image video etc.

if not, flagship phones will nearly be $2000 average price in future.

So basically a Mi 11 Ultra with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. This should be interesting since they both have the same camera hardware but different chipset ISP.
