Yes it is but currently it is not even close to perfect. The latency and the quality as compared to weird is just bad. Also, when you are paying a premium, 1000$, why even cut a very important feature which a sub 200$ phone has? It is not like there is not enough space, there is enough space, but thing is it saves manufacturing cost hence INCREASES PROFITS EXPONENTIALLY. Also even when they will provide a headphone jack there will still be a option to connect wirelessly. So sir yes you don't care about headphone jack dosent mean every one does. Also as pointed out by countless surveys online on majority of website people needs headphone jack and this makes you very few of those who don't.

To put it as short as possible- even if its pixelated to some extent, you wouldn't notice.
I'd go so far as to say that even 200MP vs 20MP, you'll be hard pressed to actually notice the difference from 10 storeys below.

They announced a HP3 this year but are going ship the HP1.
In 16 pixel binning, you are likely to loose some colour differences in the bin. A straight Bayer or rgbw for full resolution would be good.
A 8kp50/60 and 16kp25/30 video modes (VR or over resolution use) would be good.

lol sensor alone won`t give you the maximum quality. It`s the combination of chipset, optics, and software. Just look at that huge lens they were using, I bet it costs more than a flagship phone

I recommend you all to go check the samples 41mp from Nokia 808 Pure View.
A true 41 megapixel cameraphone ( no binning ) withouth OIS and really small apperture but that creates super high quality pictures ( for the day ) and very natural looking.
Now imagine updating that sensor and adding the massive improvements in ISP chips of the days we're living....
That is THE SENSOR i want, nothing else.

More megapixels means better for any non tech geek which is 90% of global population. Its same like knowing that Lenovo P2 of 2015 have far more endurance in battery than any moder smartphone for example Samsung M51 with 7000 mAh cell.
