Anonymous, 01 Jun 2022Flip would still outsell Fold even if both were same price.... moreWhat are you smoking? Of couse it would not, they're completely different smartphones, the Fold is way superior, I'm saying that as someone that had the Flip3 for 6 months before switching to a Fold3 and the Fold is way better in every way, having a little tablet in your pocket is amazing

So basically everyone has one of the worst flip/foldables you can buy simply because it's samsung so drilled in to your brain with non stop advertising and aggressive deals with phone companies. They've bought the 50% because literally every other foldable is better than them (other than Motorola Razr, that's terrible).

Clamshell is way better format than book.

From any comments section, you would think the Fold 3 is the most popular. Nope. Clamshells are the most popular. I can't see myself using another phone that isn't a flip phone. My Razr 5G felt sluggish with nearly 80% storage capacity filled. I cleared up 10%, and it feels much smoother. I now keep my phones at less than 70-75% storage capacity.

I can see myself use my Razr 5G and Flip 3 for the next 10 years. Save money buying a new phone every year or two. And it takes a while tp have each phone as perfect in customization as I want. Best part of a foldable for me is not needing a kickstand or the versatility of watching movies or TV from the cover display to save battery life. Been watching Stranger Things S4 from the Flip 3's 1.9" cover display and it's fine. Kills 6% per hour. Easy to grip.

My Step-Sis bought a galaxy fold a few weeks ago and now the screen looks like it's about to break.

SShock, 01 Jun 2022Well, great for those who find fragile soft display and wei... moreI honestly agree with all of that. It could only be slightly useful if it was a triple fold to be like an 8 inch tablet, but the plastic screen is still a dealbreaker for me. The Z Flip may look good but it‘s totally useless and gimmicky in my opinion, instead of just having a bar which is already folded out and doesn’t need a separate interaction.

I think I'll also get one if it comes at right price and better battery.

Well, great for those who find fragile soft display and weird useless aspect ratio "useful" for their usage. For me folding phones are totally pointless. It would only be somewhat useful for those few times I use browser on my phone. For everything else narrow and wide format just works better, be it social media or watching videos. Rectangular movies in square unfolded display are just dumb.
