The S22 ultra could really use SD 8+ Gen1. I guess I will wait next yr and do a swap for the next iterated S23 Ultra.

You can disagree with that, but doesn't change the obvious fact that galaxy fold is just too big phone for most and most would pick flip instead.
But like the sales shows, very few actually want foldable, which isn't that surprising, currently they bring lot more cons than pros and i wonder can time fix that, or will foldables just fade away quite quickly.

Anonymous, 01 Jun 2022Flip would still outsell Fold even if both were same price.... moreLet me disagree with that...my Fold3 spares me carrying around a tablet and makes working, ebook reading, multimedia content, even surfing so much better. And yes, it fits in my pocket and yes, battery life is more than enough. The advantage the flips offer to a normal rigid flagship are marginal at best. The only real advantage I see is a trendy foldable at a more affordable price.
Of course, everyone is entitled to an opinion and luckily there is enough variety to choose from.

I wouldn't need to carry around my tablet and my phone anymore. The biggest reason I don't get a folding phone is battery life. I wouldn't be able to get through a whole day with how poor the battery life is on these. Personally I'd prefer they make these foldables bigger or include some kind of OEM battery case to improve battery life. Kinda like what motorola did with their mods and the z phones.

Flip 3 5G was the only phone that I was excited for as met all my needs. The 1st foldable that is a daily driver, practical, functional and without any doubt a head turner!

No it’s not, if Samsung would give fold 3 and flip 3 for people free, most would pick the flip 3 for sure. Fold 3 is just way too big for majority, flip is lot more popular because it’s best way to use fold tech, making something more compact.
