Samsung apparently has a huge stockpile of 50 million devices due to low demand

The A Series is mostly to blame.

Samsung not only has a pricing issue (overpriced), but also a quality issue. I have bought a Note model 3 years ago and the screen turned green after just 1 year of use. Some of my friends also encountered quality issues. So naturally, demand drops.

obviously, Chinese phones are much better especially Xiaomi.
A series devices are worst, Low quality, poor specs, high price tag...

Of late, Samsung has been giving lower specs at higher prices leading to buyers being lured away to other brands offering better specifications. The recently launched A53 & A73 are classic cases, here A52s5G still is a better option with its 778 Snapdragon Processor which is missed out on A53 and then you have the very high priced A73 giving same 778 Snapdragon Processor.

ob, 22 Jun 2022These 2022 A series specs wise are just meh.Exynos killed it. The A52S for example is so much better value than A53. Noone with a brain would choose the A53.

It would help if they would make their phones available in all countries! The rollout of Samsung A73 is shocking!

Now that's very strange. I tried to order an A33 but it kept on being in backlog. Then I tried to order the A53, same story...your device will be in in 3 weeks, and then in 1 week and finally in 3 weeks again. So I dropped all efforts to order one of these. Although the new A series are a lot better than the previous ones, prices are indeed high. I'm not even going to talk about the S22 series, they are just not worth the increased price over the previous gen and except for the huge slabs the battery performance of the more normal ones are just pissed poor. I don't see the point of having to top off the phone during the day just to get by the end of that same day.

1)Samsung took off the Charger from the Box just like Apple.
2)Giving TFT Displays not even LCD.
                    3)High Prices for Devices.
                    4) Personal Opinion : Removing 3.5mm Headphone Jack which is useful to Middleclass people who doesn't use Wireless Buds.

Talha Zubair , 22 Jun 2022Samsung offers high price segmentation in mod range devices... moreHmm, but I wondered, why oppo midrange phone with cheap spec at high prices sells like a cake. Look at those price sd695 or helios phone from oppo, its price is comparable to Samsung A series

Samsung has an image problem, most people with disposable income don't want to be seen with a Samsung phone. The prices they charge for their high-end phones are priced out of range for their type of consumers. Still can't believe I recently was able to pick up a brand new Galaxy S22 through T-Mobile USA for $199 with a junk trade in.

No 10 bit display, No HDR (m53,a33,a53)

                              No DC dimming

15-25w charger that to sold separately

                              All plastic high price

Still using old gen LPDDR4X and UFS2.x even on expensive A73

Removing default android features like camera access on all midrangers and extra dim on some models

Weak network modems, no mimo on wifi

Even after using snapdragon processor they don't give its all capable features like dual recording, raw, portrait video, new gen Bluetooth version etc

What they have? Lollipops of 4 os update and how old gen ufs2.x and lpddr4x, Mediocre processor survive that is not known

Kinda undersrandable. Factor in two different kind of the same phone except one has the superior SoC while the other has their subpar Proprietary SoC. Meaning you either suck it up or import the better version. Removal of a Charging Brick while its competitors includes one. Failing to realize that their Flagship can barely only get away with it due to wireless charging that slightly alleviates the inconvenience. Only because chances are those who buy them has a wireless charger and uses that instead or has a PD charger as their all in one charger. Factor in the recent shams in One UI when updates arrives causing bugs if not outright bricking the phone in sone instances. Lastly being so overpriced even for their so called Midranger and Budget Lineups. Then yeah, people with access to other brands specially those outside of the US would opt out for better deals that can offer the same if bot at time better performance at a more affordable price.

Rokoman, 22 Jun 2022What happens is that Samsung sells cell phones that are too... moreSamsung gives you better software by comparision, and actual updates that improve the utilisation experience in time.
Brands like xiaomi give you hardware, but what do you do with that if software sucks?
