Color science is entirely subjective, this is why Fujifilm's film simulation modes are loved by tens of millions of photographers worldwide despite not aiming to be the most color accurate color profiles. If you think otherwise you clearly do not have a fundamental idea of what photography stands for and should not be even talking about image quality like you know much about it.

      Sony sure loves false advertising.

We will see what it brings to the table in real life. On paper it has delivered so far. Should not cost more than 1200USD for 256GB. This should be norm for flagships. Cameras are excellent these days and we need more storage. Also 512GB should be made globally.

Sahil, 29 Jun 2022Waiting for so log for Xiaomi 12 ultra model, its a request... moreWill be launched surely. If not 12T Pro with everything same except slight degraded camera will be launched with snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.

And not everyone is willing to leave one OS to use other.
Comparing to iphone was just fetish for Apple.

Let me guess, on the press they will be showing photo taken by it and iphone side by side. 🤣. At least it is better than mi11 ultra 4s shutter vs rx100 1/16s shutter.

I hope the founder/CEO is no longer using iphone over own phones. Like he was few years ago.

Nick Tegrataker, 30 Jun 2022While there are ways to measure the image quality objective... moreNo.

Colour science is right or wrong. In his case, right is what healthy eyes see.
Sharpening is bad and should not even be used unless to improve quality of very old stuff. There is nothing good in making texture richer than it is in reality.

This is not excuse for the fact xiaomi worships Apple.
Tons of brands sell in China, but xiaomi feels need to mention Apple.

                So pathetic ...

updated information say the this year doesn´t come the ultra, but here they say than yes, so, what is the truth?

Anonymous, 30 Jun 2022Image quality is not subjective. Subjective is something... moreWhile there are ways to measure the image quality objectively (details, presence of moire/false colours, noise level and dynamic range in RAW), many other elements including exposure metering, the amount of sharpening/noise reduction, tone mapping and so-called "colour science" are largely up to one's personal taste. Being noisier doesn't necessarily mean the image quality has gone worse if there are more textures to be seen in high-frequency areas of an image, for instance.

Anonymous, 29 Jun 2022703 = iphone 13 pro There was no need to mention Apple ... moreDid you entirely miss out on the fact that:
                      - This is a teaser poster,
                      - Any teaser is an ad,
                      - Ads exist to show the superiority of the company's own products in one way or another (Either by showing their unique selling points, or areas where they do better than the competition)?

                      "703 = iphone 13 pro"
That's something only hardcore tech nerds would know, therefore it would've been pointless to include it in this particular teaser.

"Xiaomi should just do their stuff and forget Apple exists"
No they shouldn't, they are in the same market and Xiaomi obviously wants to take away chunks of Apple's market share as hard as possible (They don't do the same against Samsung due to Samsung's low market share in China).

Subjective is something that consideres personnal taste.
                          While technical evaluation does not.

The reports I saw years ago, people said photos were much noisier than usual even in daytime. Weird colours etc ...

Back then I remember that my phone misteriously lost burst mode after updating to new android version. So, I do believe brands do some stuff on purpose.

Huawei was only selling more and more devices in the US, was showing smartphones with better cameras than Apple, was doing more innovations than Apple, competitive SoC's, beautiful screens, actually good support in the retail stores, etc of course Apple and the government was going to do nothing about it and let them take more and more market share from Apple...

People are so naive about what happens behind the curtain. Keep believing that the "official" narrative was the only excuse for the ban.
