[deleted post]please read before writing, sometimes it helps.. its not about the bump at all! its about the size of glass you should protect from scratches with the cover... the lenses are actually not really big, but because it is all combined in one big round glass bump, you cannot protect it with a cover very well... so each time you put the phone on the table you have to be sure, there is nothing to scratch the phones lenses...

90fps shows how overpowered is any sensor with DRAM, that is what the Bionz X can allow 100 M7 to do, not even the limit of the cmos.

I just realised that the massive circular object at the centre of the bump is actually the UWA camera and not the main camera lol.

Right now there's only the Chinese model available which lacks band B20 which is used in Europe. Disappointing.

the design is so stupid... no cover can protect that big glas which is protecting the camera... so with the time, there are nice scratches on it which will I guess not really help with the image quality of the pictures, no matter what size the sensor will have... :-/

Interesting camera setup.. cant wait for camera sample & review.
Seems like Xiaomi just want to test the market reaction with this.. just like how they do with Mi 10 Ultra.
Tbh, everything look perfect on paper but MIUI and curved display might be a deal breaker for me..
MIUI updates tends to mess up everything.. what a waste to have great hardware pair with sh!ty software

Same people that complain it is China exclusive are same people that would make huge scandal if this was available in Europe for more than €1200 , when it would easily be €1500 or even more.
We would see same lame speech " Xiaomi is crazy, this costs more than galaxy and iphone, who would buy this?

Most phones cap at around 10-20fps for burst shooting and many manufacturers don't focus on tracking AF capability (except for Sony, Vivo, and Google to an extent).

There are implications of using the other CFA. There is always a penalty like loss of DR or colour accuracy issues. This is why they are too rare. Huawei knew RYYB was mistake and did not even bother to order it from Omnivision.
Periscopes have not gone beyond 240mm because that would demand more space, something phones do not have. There is limit on how much the engineers are able decrease size of components to find more room for other stuff like battery and larger main camera. While phones need to deal with hot SoCs.
If you want 400mm, 500mm or 600mm periscope, ask someone to make something like Z Ultra. That is big enough for this.
I am not even saying about costs, another factor.
