What I found out tho, xiaomi way to use double press volume button to launch camera is way faster than doing it in Sony with push&hold camera button. Not to mention when shooting is pushing hw button often slower and more prone to shake phone as you got to grip that small thing hard.
That aside, using volume button is also great, I do so sometimes, but more often I touch the place on screen where I want a focus.
Anyway it's less important to me than missing Jack and Dsee, because of which there is glimmer hope for Sony that I may buy xperia.

Anonymous, 04 Jul 2022Do you know what import is?Not that simple. Even if phone is not sold somewhere, it needs to be certified at local communication agency (FCC in USA for example) to proplerly work.
Also, there are countries that governement charges huge tax when people import stuff (taxes much more expensive compared to what company would pay).
Last year I got charged about 38% of product's price when I got something on ebay.

You even get bonus points for the way Xiaomi disdains imports should you ever try to use what is an internal joke they called "global support". But hey, power to you.

Large camera sensors are likely to be better suited to phone manufacturers that do not rely too much on computational photography like Sony and Sharp. The reason being that the 'bland' natural looking results from such type of sensors are more likely to be appreciated by photography (somewhat) purists.
