Why would I even try to buy that, when iPhone costs the same and is much better?

And then there is a problem with warranty, only through the reseller, instead of a service company as all the brands oficially sold here have. So I'd buy a Pixel, but I rather get a Samsung not to have any problems.

6P was my first google phone after the initial G1 model. It was a great phone until the battery issues killed it. Id probably still have it as a back up if it still worked.

How come a company like Google with the monopoly they have can't put together a bug-free phone?

Pixel are released with a lot of beta state issues. So it's like the pixels are just released to make the sales date, instead of when they are actually ready to be released. I've had several nexus models, but never experienced as many problems as any of the pixel models had after release.

My honorable mention is the Moto X 2014. This wasn't Google branded, but it was clearly made in Google's vision when they still owned Motorola. The Pixel 4a is probably the best value electronic purchase I have ever made.

Anonymous, 10 Jul 2022Nexus 6 is still the most comfortable phone to hold in hand... moreThat's interesting. I have a totally different experience. I found the phone incredibly slippery and uncomfortable due to it's size. I sold it after a month and a half for a profit. Bought for $300 subsidized and sold for $450. This is actually the phone that made me stop buying flagships. I bought a used Moto X 2014 a few weeks before I sold it and I felt like there wasn't much of a difference in the experience. The camera was just a bit better. I haven't bought a single flagship since this Nexus 6 and the only way I would consider it is if I find a phone that ticks literally every box for me. Small phone, high end SoC, industry leading camera, premium build materials, capacitive fingerprint sensor, plain Android. No one is really offering this over the past few years. The closest phones were the Pixel 3 and Zenfone 8. I would have bought the Zenfone 8, but they didn't bring it to NA until over a month after release. I have bought a few other premium products just not phones. Pixelbook Go, M1 Macbook Air, iPad Mini 6, Legion Y700. The only one of them I'm not completely happy with is the iPad cause iOS blows.

Had fond memories of nexus one. First smartphone phone I bought fully unlocked and brand new, $500.

I owned the Nexus One, 4, and 5. The One and the 4 looked and felt the best but the 5 had the Snapdragon 800 which was a big leap from the S4 Pro the year prior. I still have my 5 but battery life was atrocious. Nexus had its fair share of problems too. It's only nostalgia that covers its warts.

I still have my Pixel 3 as well and do miss my first gen Pixel which had headphone jack and unlimited Google Photos storage for life in original size. I still use the Pixel 3 to store new movies and TV shows in saver storage. Still takes great photos. It also works well for Dreamcast and PSP. Snapdragon 845 is a really good chip for gaming.

Nexus 5 and Pixel 3 are my favorites from each product line, hence, why I still own them. The Pixel 6 series doesn't interest me because I hate the size and don't like that Tensor chip for emulation.

Just when people were poking fun at LG for the G4's boot loop, the Nexus 6P had it even worse. So much so that Google themselves paid $400 as compensation for those who were suffered from the boot loop issue*. Maybe, for once, it was the right decision for me not to buy a Sony Xperia Z5 when it was brand new.

My first Android phone was a Huawei running Android 2.3 Gingerbread, I fell in love with Android and became the number one Android fan.

Google Pixel is my absolute favourite, Google cameras are simply outstanding and better than the iPhone so I'm happy to stay on the #teampixel since 2013.

The biggest problem of Nexus/Pixel phones is their poor availability in many countries. They are great phones, with a different design style and perfect specs, but what does it matter when you can't buy it or if you can, then extremely overpriced? I wouldn't have to care much about the price, but I don't support this policy.

Flagship pixel phones are not sold in my country since the pixel 3. From all the reviews I've seen, the software has deteriorated over the years. These phones are ridden with bugs. If stock android from the creators of android behaves like this, what will be the fate of android in the future?

Among all Nexus and Pixels, only Nexus 6 and Pixel 3 are worth.
