Optimisation depends on brand. Samsung does it really well. But nothing is perfect. Even iPhone lags once in a while. But all in all iPhone can't do many many things that a cheap Android can do. Android is superior. All Apple products are worse worse worse. Airpods? Lol even cheap JBL will sound better. But if we add Sony Jabra Sennheiser Bose they will kill them easily. Macbook? HP Asus Dell are miles better. iPad? Surface is better.

Sometimes, it’s easy to forget that you’re actually unlocking your iPhone by just looking at it vs consciously touching your phone to unlock.
Samsung was very promising with their Iris scanning feature years ago. However it was very clunky and required alignment for it to work.
Yes, it would be nice to have an FPS scanner as a secondary biometric to FaceID but this is not a deal breaker especially with how great FaceID works. It’s so well integrated to apps too.

Never never never. iOS is kid c... moreadvanced android? they hold its market share by rebranding phones with existing ones. just like samsung with their m and f series which uses the same exynos 850 chipset, xiaomi with poco rebranded, oppo with their a57, a77, a97. and reno7, f21, reno8 lite. flagship androids? let those alone. they couldnt compete iphones even if they have highest hardware, but the software optimization is wayyy terrible.
most android fanboys are adults but acting like a 10 year old.

so pointless no different than a notch, like the space above camera that's not connected is used for anything lol, but guess aesthetically/visually more pleasing at least...imo i like sony's approach just have nice even bezel like in old days and put in everything u like, imo either go all out do under display or pop up cam or again like song top and bottom bezel over say sacrifice great cam and sensors for some notch smh

But unlike Apple who stubbornly insisted on FaceID and perfected it, everyone else dropped this and went with whatever everyone is going with, in-display fingerprint scanners. Not saying it's bad, in my book certainly better than useless rear mounted fingerprint scanner (so you need to fumble the phone around if it's locked on the desk), but I just kinda prefer the FaceID over anything else. And I had a really fast front mounted fingerprint scanner on Xiaomi Mi5 years ago.

Actually comical claiming it’s not “effective” in darkness. Clearly they’re referring to the typical Android face unlock feature with the delusion it has the same tech and purpose as FaceID.
I’ll keep them in my prayers. May this lie help them sleep soundly at night.
