I had an esim iPhone. I changed it to dual physical sim phone. I travel a lot and rely on switching SIM cards at a moments notice from work simcard to personal simcard and data cards from a country I am travelling to power those two. I can’t have iPhone 14 if they come out with esim only version in my country which takes away my accessibility to switch sims at moments notice. Esim take a lot longer to fiddle around and powering up my secondary sim. I am out of their games if they force me to get a better phone and take away my accessibility and conveniences. Simple.

Esim only phone? Are you joking me?

Not everyone has access too tools and other computers if you all go to wains! Like right now I’m disabled have no friends or family and my phone was turned off and I’m disabled and I depend on my phone everyday but now I’ve probably lost my number and all and I had that number ever since there were bag phones and it was 15 minutes for $15.00! Now I can’t even think 🤔 about having a phone from a major carrier and I really liked them until I was forced too have too do a family plan and that family member disconnected me without my permission or knowledge and now I can’t do anything about it because I need her too let me or give me permission too talk too someone in the company and that wasn’t happening so I’m sh@t out of luck 🍀!☹️

Esim only is a bad idea if you have more than one phone and need to switch the sim.

Anonymous, 19 Jul 2022zzz.. they also can see if you have SIM. The messages are s... moreI could be wrong, but I think they can't see your messages even if they are saved in the internal storage. As long as your phone is fairly new which has encryption enabled, they shouldn't be able to access contents without unlocking the phone.

The same thing happens with drive encryption for PC (e.g. BitLocker). Even if someone steals your storage device, you can't access the contents without the encryption key or logging into the system.

Anonymous, 19 Jul 2022they made the phones thinnermeh, am not supporter for fragile thinness
would rather if they increase the thickness to flatten the ugly camera hump and give us more battery capacity

Unless you are talking about ancient phones, like nokia era.. whereby they save it to the sim card memory directly.. and those are limited.

there is a massive issue with esim. If your phone gets faulty and you send it off , the repair centre can see all your messages/wa/snaps etc.. that you get unless you turn off the esim before they get it (most dont)

Whatever iPhone 14 has the esim only will flop☠️ like the iPhone 12&13 mini in sales. Apple needs to put usb c port on they Iphone 14 models and stop delay it.😎😤

[deleted post]Can’t really say that, it’s Samsung and Apple pushing this for different reasons than the carriers do.

                                      And carriers are greedy mo********ers.
