oppo or other bbk brands likes to put virtual ram to advertise their products. which it does not do anything. midrangers started to ditch the sd, 3.5mm. like the nothing phone 1 for example.

You're arguing your point by throwing performance entirely out the window and only comparing power consumption. A15 is several levels faster than A8. Like several many levels. Yet it's consuming about the same power in the end (for the sake of comparison), but at the same time performs significantly faster. What does that tell you? That's efficiency. They could also go the route you're expecting it to go, but that wouldn't make much sense, to have A8 Bionic performance with power consumption that would make phone last 2x longer. Sure, but it would still be pretty useless as A8 is showing its age quite a bit now.

The screen does not take every 60 frames to display. It takes the latest one made at the time of refresh. So even if a display is only at 60Hz, you're getting a newer frame each time the display refresh rate. If you watched the video I linked you, you'd know that. But you've just showed that you're ignorant and proud of it for the sake of bashing Apple.
Again, obviously 120Hz is better than 60Hz. But we're not talking about that. As you yourself said, and I quote, "better GPUs doesn't matter if half of the models are locked at 60hz." Factually untrue. I'm going off of your own "arguments" here, and they're completely false. Since you're obviously determined to stick to your ignorance, I think I'll leave and have discussions with people who know what they're talking about.

Se3 = A15
7 generations ahead. If the 20% improvement was actually true, then SE3 should now last 3,6x longer than iphone 6 even if all other components were equal.
I highly doubt someone out there is getting about 10h-11h SoT out of SE3 while making calls, using messengers, emails, camera, youtube, social networks, listening to music etc ..

Anonymous, 25 Jul 2022I'd rather buy a midrange android instead of pro iphon... morewell just go buy a midrange with full of gimmicks. including virtual ram, useless depth "bokeh" and mediocre dedicated macro sensor. it would make your task sooooo much easier. android 11 was already terrible in file management. if you are so into bigger screen than iphone then go buy a tecno. that'll suit you. or if you do not really care about roms, get a better redmi note 10 pro. which is cheaper but the camera is a bit disappointing in low light. and if you want the most features you need a52 and a52s can be the closest option
