Not really sure you can call that a "leak". It's very impressive that nothing actually leaked at all about the Zenfone 9. ASUS clearly ran a tight ship this year. You can hardly call them accidentally uploading their own promo video a "leak" - yet of course, people still are. Equally, that "last update" can be taken with a pinch of salt - I'm still getting updates for my Zenfone 7 Pro.

And Asus were satisfied enough with how the Zenfone 8 was received that they made a successor.

Manufactures are putting worse screens in phones because they're cheaper and eat less of their bottom line. Thinking that it's for your benefit is laughable

All the 5" phones from the last... moreIf they make the phone something 10mm thick they can fit everything in it and also something like 4000mAh battery that is more then enough. As the electronics part like motherboard and so on are not really the biggest parts in the phone. The bigger parts seem to be camera now days. Also battery takes a lot of space too but it's not impossible. If iphone mini with 5.4 inch ecreen can fit all of it in the 13.1cm body then i dont see a problem. also iphone mini is 7.7mm thick and thats the reason why it also have only 2400mAh battery in it.
