Until then, I am sorry that not everybody agrees with you dude, and I do hope that you eventually move past the need for them to do so. Objectively, whilst your as welcome to your opinion as anyone else, it just doesn't count for much 🤷♂️

SShock, 28 Jul 2022I've been using Android since Eiclair to Pie and I als... moreI used to like HTC's sense skin back in the day, mainly because 'stock' android was really threadbare back then. I think the last skin I used that I thought really brought together the lean simpleness of 'stock', with some actually useful features was Oxygen OS around the time of the Oneplus 3 / 3T (the 3T being one of my all time favorite phones).
I think were I going to switch back to Android today, I would avoid any of the Chinese brands, OnePlus included thanks to their 'Oppoification', not get along with One UI going off my most recent experience on the Galaxy S10+. And probably end up looking at a Pixel, though I am aware of the issues there.

[deleted post]It's great to live in iJail, wouldn't change for anything! Especially in such a luxury jail with amazing control, everything is click away and for example when we get now OS version we all get it day one, for you it's likely months wait if it actually ever get delivered 😆 just saying. It's good to have limits and control, been completely free starting to look worse and worse every year, that's why so many are leaving the freedom and going to iJail 😁

DaFink, 28 Jul 2022Genuine question, what tasks exactly?
I only ask as I fi... moreI've been using Android since Eiclair to Pie and I also run Android 10 on Galaxy S2 as my "test" project and the usability has been exactly the same now and back then. Google just moved few bits around and now there are gestures that Android didn't have back then, but other than that it's the exact same thing pretty much.
It's usually just a matter of how much crap there is plastered on top of Android by individual vendors that makes things clumsier or potentially more user friendly.

Whilst it is a point that file management is far more robust on Android than on iOS, I can count one hand the number of times over the past decade or so I have seen an Android user going to town on file management, and still have fingers left over to be able to use a set of chopsticks!
Hell, going by the home screens of most android users I see out and about, even properly positioning an app icon is asking too much.

I only ask as I fi... more” iPhone. Never once have I noticed anything I did on those Android handset's being harder to do on iOS.”
He is typical clueless Android boy who don’t know what he’s talking about. Some tasks work differently with iOS than Android or vice versa, doesn’t mean it’s any harder. Now he will propably list few very tiny things which you never use in daily life or make any difference in big picture, that’s how it usually goes 😁 let’s see if he can actually make a proper point, highly unlikely.

I only ask as I first used Android in 2009 with the HTC Hero, and used a bunch other Androids before I ever picked up my first iPhone. Never once have I noticed anything I did on those Android handset's being harder to do on iOS.
Sure I can't run emulators, but then never have I wanted to, neither can I install custom rom's or launchers. Again though a user is only ever going to want to do that if they don't like the existing rom or launcher.
So again, what tasks? I can switch between both and barely skip a beat dude, If your finding iOS (the os designed for the less tech savvy apparently) a little too difficult, maybe it's you that is the problem????

esse113, 27 Jul 2022I'm an Android user for many, many years. But that'... moreThis sums it up perfectly. Your post was completely reasonable, your stated your own preference for Android, whilst acknowledging the fact that whilst that is your preference you still don't feel the need to cr*p all over iPhone.
You then end it with 'Stop hating and let people choose what they like! Peace ✌️'
Like I said a perfectly reasonable, pleasant comment, nice to see 👍
And yet, It still earned one of those little dislike X emoji things from 'TheAlienNextDoor', proving that there are those on this site for whom allowing others to simply have their own preferences / different opinions will always be a step too far.

I love these "let people buy whatever they want without feeling inferior comments".
It's akin to expecting people to not only let you but even cheer you and congratulate you for not only eating manure but even paying for it.
Apple, iPhone and iOS are simply, objectively crap.

This is interestingly said when even Samsung fans aren’t buying their phones like they used to. How you can recommend someone to buy Samsung phone when even their real fans aren’t buying them anymore?
