I'm an Android user for many,many years.But that's my taste,and I don't go hating Apple users and their products just because of that! I tried the iPhone 6s when it was new,decent phone then but couldn't get used to IOS. I now have a Samsung S21 Ultra after leaving a Xiaomi mi11,I love the tweeks and things I can do with Android. However, Apple's phones are not at all inferior to any Android phones,and the 13 pro is a beast! Stop hating and let people choose what they like! Peace ✌️

There were times when things like rock-n-roll, too much TV, video games, and too much Internet corrupted the youth. Now it's smartphones. They corrupted everyone of all ages. It's surprisingly more of the Millennials who are buying dumb phones more.
Before getting my first smartphone in January 2008, the Nokia N82, I carried my 5th gen iPod (video) for 2 years almost every day and even at work. In all my photos traveling Europe, I'm wearing headphones. So an iPod still isolated me from the world. It also made me tune out from the world years before smartphones did.
I'm inspired by Ashton Womack and Selena Gomez though. They found happiness from escaping the smartphone or Internet trap. Instead of the 3-hours mindlessly scrolling on the Internet, you can use that time to develop more practical skills like cooking, drawing, or learning a new language. I'm going to miss YouTube's history education videos but I'm ok with podcasts like Slow Burn and Business Wars to fill that void.
I have been more obsessed with phones longer than most people here. I was obsessed years before smartphones made most of us into brainless zombies. And here I am wanting to go back to ancient times (circa 2005) when most people were happier. Getting that next new phone won't keep you happy for very long. It's a void that can never be fulfilled.
Going to switch to a $9.99 prepaid plan on T-Mobile next year. Will save thousands of dollars per year. Debating Android vs. iOS is a waste of time like most things you read online. Only makes you angry and unhappy.
