Anonymous, 04 Aug 2022You seem to blame Huawei for not including Google services ... moreI completely agree, I had the mate 20 pro and it was a FANTASTIC phone. I'd have had nothing but Huawei since if it weren't for that stupid trump era ban.
In fact I've just bought one of their laptops, and that's bloody fantastic too! Huawei make really good products and it's a shame I can't get them with mine (and their) preferred OS...

Anonymous, 03 Aug 2022why "again"? mate 40 pro was available globally. ... moreWell, I don't call a EU release 1 year later a global release. Both Mate 40 and P50 series were only available in China on official release. By the time they came to Europe, all other brands had released their next flagships. With regard to sensors - maybe i am wrong but i see only 3 optical sensors vs. 4 in p50 pro. Perhaps the B/W one will disappear?

Zilong, 02 Aug 2022Are you sure about that??? Well kirin MIGHT be better than ... moreThats quite an old soc Kirin 980 w/c I believe released in 2018? & still able to run Genshin Impact 2020 released game is quite a feat already. Obviously it still uses now dated cortex a76 & a53 cores so thats that. But the gpu it had was quite beefy + Huaweis own optimizations.

Well kirin MIGHT be better than snapdragon...but in terms of thermals, kirin 980 cant even have a stable genshin impact unless turning on high performance, but it does throttle more than the snapdragon without tuning some settings

Zero, 31 Jul 2022Aparently the Kirin 9100 and the succesor of the Kirin 820 ... moreCant wait Kirin Socs to comeback as I always had good experience with them in the past before they got sanctiones/banned by US. More stable than Crappynos or Overheating Dragons.

LucaKirani, 31 Jul 2022There are also rumours of a kirin 9100 aswell. Aparently the Kirin 9100 and the succesor of the Kirin 820 might be made by the SMIC 7 nm proccess, but of course it might be during the next year.

No matter how good you make its the google fact make users as my self that always got huawei stoped buying it as google is not supported after my last purches of the huawei p40 pro ill never go back to huawei useless and not a benefit to even spend a nother R20000+ on useless handsets if it was that the consumer could still have google and supported devices huawei would be the most popular and best brand to buy. Really disappointed in Huawei my trusted brand for years and now not even a intrest to me to buy or own any of the Huawei products

If Kirin had core ... moreWell man yes.
But anyway 44 celsius aint that bd for a fastest CPU available for androids.
M1 or M2 by apple doesnt overheats that much and yet they heavily throttling just because apple.
