Rumor: the Galaxy S23 Ultra will have a 200MP sensor with 0.6µm pixels, 5,000mAh battery

04 August 2022
That's the same battery capacity as the S22 Ultra. Similarly, the new 200MP image sensor may be the same size as the current 108MP sensor.

This industry is dead. Go ahead and delete this comment.

Give the s23 the same hardware, but 4500 mah battery and without the 200mp sensor. Stop destroying the hardware and performance, just because it's not the ultra! Ultra should only mean bigger screen, top sensor and bigger battery. The rest should be identical.

What is the point having such a high resolution cam sensor when there is no expendable memory?

Then i imported the snapdragon version and i have no problems at all, but i like my old Mi 11 ultra little more, its with a stable eu rom, so i change between them and my even older Mste 20x which still is absolutely fine today and with 2 days battery life, with high daily use.

People don't use phones to call. They text via messengers, they browse web, but most of all they take thousands of photos. Everywhere. Every time.
One example from my trip to a very interesting location. I watched some people walking about the same speed as I did. While I took about 50 photos on the whole 5 km route with my DSLR, they each took at least three times that with phones. A rock, a selfie with a rock, another selfie with a rock, etc.

Considering that the P30 Pro was from 2019, only seeing a 1:30 increase of average battery life increase from 7 hours to 8:30 hours is kinda sad. Trust me. Mrwhosetheboss asked what he was gonna do with 11 hours of endurance on the iPhone 13 Pro Max:

Well, good sir, this is the sort of battery that means that I can coop up and just browse social media and chats somewhere without needing a charger all day. And for trips and hikes into the mountains that might last 48 hours, I might not need to carry a 1 KG powerbank.

HOWEVER. I am honestly all about the cameras. I've been spoiled by the P30 Pro, and thus, any tangible camera improvements will make me happy to upgrade. This isn't a case of not having anything to upgrade, smartphone cameras are the worst kind of cameras. They give all glory to convenience, so a better smartphone camera is VERY welcome.

Do not worry, some tech sites gonna lie too you and say it is best screen just because it has 1700 nits peak brightness and 120Hz.
