Kirin 9000 is the far most that they can go, and even that chip is already left behind by competitors. About SD8G1, one of T&C that Qualcomm need to agree when they were given permission to sell Snapdragon chips to Huawei is they can only sell 4G version of the chip, so one of the possibility is that 4G version of SD8+G1 is not available yet. The other possibilities are Mate 50 series is in development since before 8+G1 was announced or Qualcomm also cannot sell the latest chip to Huawei as part of the T&C.

                                  So... it's going to be an overpriced phone with a 4G only chip, no GMS, and a giant notch? Huawei is dead lol. The fact that they released their P50 Pro for 900 euros plus in Europe, tells just how tone-deaf they are.

                                    And 4g :))) whi the * are buying those ? Why huawei still make those dumb phone ?
