I've not done any factory reset in 4 years and only time I reset it is when it does an update. Phone feels identical to the day I bought it.

Also, on slow phone, it was slow anyway. I had HTC Wildfire at one point and it was pretty slow. I was used to it being what it was. What annoyed me was when I had a phone with Snapdragon 820, UFS 2.0 storage and it was smooth when new and then it just spiraled into slowness over time. That's what was really bothering me, it was silky smooth in the beginning and then it was just getting slower and slower and laggy with this it used to be smooth. I don't have any of that with iPhone even after 4 years. That.

And given how iPhones are still at USB 2.0 data speeds, it seems no one cares about that even though it's being hyped as "record these awesome quality videos that are several gigabytes in size". Surely USB 2.0 is too slow for any of that, yet no one seems to care.

In the end, buyers get what they paid for. $1000 obviously is lot more than a budget $300 Android phone

SShock, 10 Sep 2022Just like they have after they removed the jack and SIM tra... moreThe tray is removed only from the usa models. If they did it for all regions, then it sales would've been affected. In the eastern countries, people like the flexibility of using two cards in one phone and to be able to change them as per requirement. Hence, the tray had to be kept. Also, to remove the port poses another challenge of data transfer. That can be addressed in some way but not all people will readily accept it. It can end up badly for apple

This time Apple launched really premium phones. God mobile phones are so expensive.

Just pre-ordered a 14 Pro, the color options are pretty lame though. Hope I like it as much as the 12 mini I've had for 2 yrs now. I'm a bit worried it's going to be too similar to my S22. Already have a pixel 6P so didn't want another big phone. My Fold 3 doesn't get used much nowadays since getting the S22.

I found the market strange and impractical

I can't understand why the iPhone se 2022 not the most popular it's the cheapest option and still has flagship performance and a good power bank only cost 5 pound if battery life was possible problem

I also struggling too understand why small smartphone are not popular anyone not like pocket have become XL size all of a sudden or still hard too reach most of the screen when using one hand

Every one just what's tablet size phones and don't even seen too care about value for money not even spec matter either

-Trix-, 10 Sep 2022He just can’t admit it, i know lot of people who’s Android ... moreMaybe Google has fixed this on recent Android versions, but in the past it felt like the storage TRIM just didn't work at all on any Android phone. It got THAT slow over time.

SShock, 10 Sep 2022No, it was flagship models. All of them.He just can’t admit it, i know lot of people who’s Android phone got almost unusable after year or two. And there’s reason for that. Everything you install for Android can make your device slower and leave all kind of crap in Android memory and eventually it makes everything slower, just like with Windows where you suddenly notice you have 100 tasks running background and you have no idea what half of them does.

With iOS this is impossible because iOS apps lives in their own sandboxes and can’t touch the iOS core so no matter how many apps you install they won’t make your iOS device any slower and won’t leave any crap in iOS memory running all night long. That’s why also iOS doesn’t hardly use any battery in standby mode.

Until now, whenever apple adopted something, they have always used it quite productively
I really don't think it will stay on USB 2.0
Even on their other devices, they are going with Thunderbolt or USB4

You failed to mention that those were $200 android phones you bought. They will get slow after a few years. iPhone XR was a $700 phone at launch. Compare apple with apple

And seeing how Apple is really heading into "all portless" design with removal of jack and now SIM tray, my prediction is that they'll adopt USB-C physical connector for iPhone 15, but electrically, it'll still be USB 2.0 as they have intention to remove it entirely anyway. Why bother sticking USB 4 in it if you plan on removing it all in the future.

Apple selling the same phone with new name. Lol

You mean the maintenance cleanup that has been a thing since beginning of time? Lol? That? Just shows you haven't ever used iOS if you think that's a bug or a problem. It just does a cleanup after every update which uses some CPU cycles and some battery, but ensures phone runs smooth like it's new even after years. Usually takes couple of hours, depending on how much stuff you have on phone. Mine is now 4 years old and it still runs like new without a single factory reset. On ALL Android phones I had to basically do yearly factory resets, otherwise they'd just grind into the ground just become slow for no logical reason.

And then all clueless users like yourself read comments like yours and think there are just problems left and right on iPhones. Reality is complete opposite. In 4 years of doing every single update the moment it was released and I had like 2 or 3 minor glitches, not even bugs. So, cut the crap with made up claims how it's all slow and buggy. It's not.
