i wsh more countries sue apple for removing the charger. it will be extra funds for the govt and also force apple to ship with chargers in the country

They started removing the char... moreNo one mentions that on samsung phones you absolutely NEED samsung charger, anything else just says on your screen:"CHECK YOUR CHARGER CONNECTION". Happened on my mom's s21 fe, glad the old galaxy s8 15w charger works, and has decent charge times. (120 minutes)
Samsung is really in it's own league with these anti consumer tactics.

If Apple had included a USB-A to lightning cable it would have been better as USB-A chargers are still quite common. Frankly I hope they fine Apple for all it’s worth, it’s disgusting ‘greenwashing’ not including a charger yet still producing millions of individually packed ones for sale! It should be law globally that a product includes everything you need to make it work out of the box.

If they are arrogant to use USB c they MUSUT provide its phone charger.
If they would use usb c no charger needed as everyone has usb c chargers and governments need to arrange law that no speculations in fkin simple charging phone must be present !!! All electrical appliances MUST have same standard and no any charging blockings or different brand detecting different brand changing !
This is pure disgusting manipulation and only greedyness !
This is apples fake emergency?? They introduced? They just should be ashamed !
All fkin phones all electronic devices must have standard USB c and same fast charing standard ! This practices must be STOPPED it absolutely doesn't help only doing harm !!

Samsung is one step ahead. A friend of mine recently bought an S20 FE 5G with a slow 15W charger with a USB A to USB C cable, but the deal breaker here is that the cable length is too short. Now, Samsung does offer a faster 25W charger but guess what? It needs a USB C to USB C cable and the charger package does not include the cable. So, if you buy an S20 FE 5G, and get frustrated with the slow charging plus short length cable, buy a 25W charger and USB C - USB C cable separately. Samsung should be fined twice what Apple should be in these cases.
Environment reason is acceptable but the reality shows double standards only nothing else.

And if all the Chinese companies that advertise 100 billion watts charging didn't include chargers for their proprietary charging standards, that would be false advertising. Where for iPhone it basically doesn't matter, any charger will do. It's just that USB-C cable that's the issue since most people don't have chargers with such outputs.

Also: Apple still uses other standarts. All other companies use USB-C cables on their smartphones.
