it was too expensive to start with. I opted for iPad Pro and the iPad Air makes a lot of sense. The mini was just a big fail i.e. way too expensive for what it is....now it is absurdly expensive.

The price in USD is the same, no increase. The price in Euros increased due to inflation in Europe, conversion change, a Euro is less than a US Dollar.

The only solution is to not buy it. I bought my iPad Mini 6 for $500 in November 2021. I have bought 2 Android tablets since; Lenovo Legion Y700 and Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021. The Y700 is by far my favorite. The XPP is quite a bit bigger, but I much prefer the software on it vs iPadOS (iOS). I bought the iPad due to small tablets being ignored by Android manufacturers for several years and I probably wouldn't have bought it if the Y700 came out 6 months earlier. Then add in the fact that the extremely limited multitasking capability of Stage Manager is not coming to the barely 1 year old iPad Mini 6 with the A15. iOS is just a joke as far as I'm concerned. I probably won't give them another look anytime soon unless the OS is opened up quite a bit more. The iPad Mini 6 at €660 is just 🤣🤣🤣. I don't hate Apple, I just hate iOS.
