Here's a comment: my 2018 Ipad pro 12.9 is still solid, but am waiting to exchange for the new Samsung S8 Ultra.

iPad OS is just a joke. I would buy one that could run OSx apps and can interchange the skin of OSx with the Ipad os. Also apple should unlock the option to be able to make volte calls directly from 5g sim.

I get a totally different conclusion from this poll. IMO it seems like new iPads are just not a compelling product for consumers that are knowledgeable about tech. Add this to the new base model getting a massive price jump, a massive price bump for all Apple products in Europe, and Apple holding back Stage Manager behind a substantial price wall. Ultimately iPads are just more of the same. The experience hasn't really changed much at all since iPadOS was released til now unless you have an M1 / M2 iPad. If you like iPadOS you probably already have an iPad that does 90% of what's being offered today.

And forget 5 years.. even 3 year old 7t series is just getting android 12.. 15 months later than the launch.. the slowest in business. So you get what you for. REMEMBER NOTHING IS FREE IN THIS WORLD

I assume that the participants of this pool is the old and new users of iPad, so the reason is because the old and older iPads are still more than capable till now. They do not need to upgrade theirs.
