Can't wait for the new Xperia's with the Gen2, they made a huge mistake using the hot running Samsung fab chips that throttle all the time, pretty much ruined the 1IV and 5IV.

I guess they probably will put an 8 Gen 2 in a theoretical F5 GT then, but that would be a fair while after the chip's launch (the F4 GT released in April). Which is probably why they're not on the list of brands since it's probably a list of initial adopters - a list of brands that promise to make multiple phones with the 8 Gen 2 at the helm before the first half of 2023 ends, not brands that'll use the chip in just one flagship killer half a year after announcement and then never again.

Intel Atom baytrail/Cherry Trail which is Equivalent of snapdragon 800 inside galaxy s5 can run Gta V at low setting.
BTW you can play GTA 4 even now with Exagear, as long as you have recent snapdragon soc,

They probably wouldn't use an 8 Gen 2 since that would drive the price up a lot.
If Qualcomm were to introduce an 890 or something similar (an upgraded 888, basically), then Poco would probably use that in an F series phone if it isn't expensive.

Once again let me share some truth regarding games. Even Snapdragon 865 can run most games you mentioned, its all about what state/quality/detail level they're in.
Take GTA 5, reduce draw distance, reduce texture resolutions, reduce objects, etc and voila, you have easy 40-60 fps on your phone.
Plus, some features may be removed while porting due to lack of codecs/compatibility issues, not just for horsepower reasons.
Even San Andreas on Android is not the same detailed as PC. You can still pass time playing it, and $6.99 for it seems.... let me just say, to each his own.
Clearly, phones are not designed to push laptop level graphics, and they won't in most cases.

Older GTA and need for speed can be ported on phones but maybe they don't see the profits there or something

The rest of the phones activities would be used by the efficiency cores, which they are more of. Of course, let's not forget about the GPU.
This is broadly descriptive of his most mobile CPUs function, but just Apples Silicon.

Year after year, critics say exynos is bad. But qualcomm run hot and unable to sustain well at all. No wonder Samsung is holding his breath on their next S series.

Just talk about thermal management in this soc. Peak performance is not important when we can't use it for more than 3 minutes!
