There are performance improvements on all fronts, but Qualcomm stayed focused on efficiency. There are also AI and modem improvements.

Hmm.. MediaTek should've worked with Imagination Tech. Their IMG CXT represents a level 4 ray tracing approach.
This one here, 8 Gen 2, represents a level 3 like Nvidia Turing and Ampere, while Immortalis G715 represents a level 2 like RDNA 2.

    you can see there both A14 and A15 perfomance cores use over 4 watts power and there are two of them in single soc.

    nowadays Gsmarena do throttle test you can check reviews of iphone 13 and 14 series.
    -in iphone 13 it throttle to 63% and average around 75%
    -in iphone 14 pro max it average 83%

    while iphone 14 are less throttled compare to A13 but they still throttle.

        Qualcomm processors are the worst in the world.
        these chips are highly depending on internet speed and so they so sensitive in video games so we experience the lag in every online game.
        best chips are mediatek ,exynos which are based on arm mali gpu

                      Some Emulators are available in Ios like Dolphin if you know how to sideload them, and they perform bad compare to Android.

But this soc is 35% more powerfull, how much power does it use to get that perfomance? Thats why you can see on paper soc is efficient but in real life its not.

Chip makers aren't wrong to put RT in now, this kind of tech doesn't get perfected in 1 generation, just look at desktop GPU.

                                    Qualcomm has been promising performance and efficiency improvements for years now but both 888 and 8 Gen 1 have been awful chips, especially when it comes to efficiency, while 8 Gen 1+ has been actually an improvement, I ain't gonna believe this till we see the chip in an actual phone.
