Well htc if you want to survive better start pricing your phones sensibly. Learn from samsung. Not many seem to be interested in you over priced phones.

no carrier in Canada carry HTC 5 inch phones so far, that means you have to spend several hundred dollars more to buy it somewhere else, likely droid DNA version, while the carrier would give you a similar phone for much less.

            look at their phone model
one, butterfly, Droid Dna, One x+, One x, One s, One sv, Desire v, desire c, desire x, one sc, one st, one x, one xv, etc

In samsung, we say galaxy series.
            Optimus series for LG.
            Xperia series for sony.
            lumia series for nokia.
            Iphone series for apple.

            But.... HTC is odd....

Over price, less feature sense ui, less feature hardware, poor marketing, no idea about after sale service etc. Many problems....

When you are talking about a Flagship model...you have to mean it. The HTC One is great with all the top specs.....but stop producing phones that don't have MicroSD expension slot...go for a 64GB expansion option. Don't go for a non replaceable Battery....People sometimes need to bring a spare battery to intercharge when the juice went dry....This two omission is a Big turn off.....Remember...These are the main reasons I never go for Apple Iphone.

Don't worry. HTC sales in March will drop even more. People in my country are considering HTC junk.

Give us expandable memory and removable battery in your phones HTC. Big mistake without those.

Hey HTC, start selling your HTC Butterfly for $300 or less to get the ball rolling. The HTC one is out and i'm sure you still have lots of Butterflies in the shelf. Do $300 on the Butterfly and $400 on the One, you'll get your customers back and will be looking at sold out units.

Overpricing is the main cause. In india even the butterfly is costly than iphone 5 & xperia z(better than butterfly)is about $120 cheaper!

Butterfly was a bad choice (unless it's a ladies model line) these new models with new seemingly random names that customers don't associate with only confuses them and they turn to a brand and model name they know is good

Still, since November the sales fall has turned around and just like the AC/DC song " it's a long way to the top if you want to rock 'n roll "

Apple has done so in the past and HTC still does. Samsung and Apple do spend a large sum of money for marketing however that marketing strategy works because they almost guarantee that their products are built with excellent craftsmanship.

The biggest example of HTCs downfall is evident in gsmarena where the HTC one daily interest has fallen down to 40% and now below the S3. Just for days it was in no.1 position
and as soon as the S4 launch date was announced it plummeted.

The screen on the HTC butterfly is a 1080p screen. The Samsung grand does not offer a full hi def screen.

But yes, pricing the butterfly at 45k is sheer stupidity on HTC's part
