I guess there is universal control and I do have a Macbook, but it's more gimmicky than useful. Especially since it doesn't even work like 60% of the time. iOS 16 appears to have brought nothing meaningful. Not even the sad excuse for multitasking stage manager. That's pretty unfortunate for a $500 device that is barely a year old.

The speed of software updates - Apple beats everyone else hands down. iOS updates are available to all eligible iPhones (up to six years old) globally on the same day.

My samsung battery health is 87% after 930 more full cycle charge (Accubattery pro stats) and still has normal Screen on time 9-10 hours depends on the app.

I’ve managed to get ad-free YouTube called uYou+ for free, and it even allows background play and download videos and PiP. Check out Trollstore first though, if it’s not compatible, check AltStore. So many IPAs. It’s all nothing more than downloading a couple times and that’s it.

When it comea to software support, Samsung is far better than any android OEM out there. Even better than Google! And i think they want to compete with apple in updating their phone for a long period of time

Don't believe them, Samsung is still slow on updates 😒, it's November and still nothing on s22 plus, and no it's no branded, only the security patches are arriving, one ui 5.0 and android 13 were supposed to be available in August, September, the rollout I think it's squared ,a great improvement if you update only 100 devices in each region, "boy we were faster than the last years "

if there's a way android can be sophisticated as iPhone, then it's through many manufacturer working together . like the snapdragon insider phone , old nexus .
but everyone hugs tight to their ego . hence we are left with DIY like phones in the name of polished phone . some have bad battery , some have bad display, some have bad software, some have everything bad inside them , none of them are a perfect piece of tech .
is 90hz display on a handheld phone an invention ? big battery ? 210w charging? fixed rom ? none of them are practical ... they are there for the sake of "new feature " and your money ofc
you may not agree but beside samsung (and maybe huawei ). everyone else has ONE passion, to rob your money.
