She uses a slow charge mostly but the fast wired charge is great to have for emergency.

The wireless charging war has basically been stopped in its tracks by the Chinese regulations mandating a 50W maximum, but there's no such limit for wired charging, and so Chinese smartphone makers keep amping up (excuse the easy pun) their systems every year.
Well phones made outside of china could still be made with 100 and more wireless charging. If something is not alowed in China it does not means its not allowed everywhere else.
Just like USA, EU, or China they are not the end of the world and still other countries India for example, Vietnam, Africa, South America and many else which does not belong to anyone else can come with better and faster solutions because they can and noone would stop them.

Anonymous, 06 Dec 2022Super fast charging will only cause the battery to wear out... moreSynthetic lab tests do translate well enough in real world
Even If the longevity claims are 50% worse in real world use
That would fall back to the current 800 charge cycle standard
And if you ask me same cycle with higher charge rate is commendable
Irony here is you only referencing lab test to discredit is also an unrealistic comparison what about all the smartphones that are NOW in the real world working just fine why not at those into the mix for a better picture

My father's 2 years old Realme 7 Pro (65W charging), has similar battery like it did in the beginning. It degraded, but not like he needs to charge it all day. It was just normal degradation (like in every other phone). Still 1 day battery phone with medium to heavy usage.
I had 65-80W charging phones in past. Now, I have a 120W charging phone. No explosions, no extra heating, no anything.
But, haters gonna hate. I say, let them enjoy their slow charging phones. The rest of us can live in an era of speed.

After 2 years the battery is still working. On a fast charging phone that will lose it's capacity substantially within a year and after 2 years you need a another phone or battery

I have a 120W charging phone. I will never go back to 20-30W charging. And the temperature of the phone and of the charger do not go above 40 degrees Celsius.
I put my phone to charge, I go eat my breakfast and when I finish, the phone is already 100% charged. No need to charge overnight, no need to wait 2h for full charge (cough, cough Apple, Google). And the phones still loose battery, with all the Apple "protection of the battery". I saw iPhones with 85-87% battery health after 2 years (only original 20W Apple charger used).
I would rather have a 120W charging phone and change the phone or battery after 2 years, than have a slow charging phone for an extra year of usage.

Just rubbish. Instead on concentrating on improving imaging, updates and overall experience, some OEMs just want clickbait publicity, by advertising chargers with ridiculous charging wattage.
Just make a 100000W charger, and get done with it.

I don't anything about smartphone. Now a days I think people like to see in smartphones are good camera and good software with updates (good hardware + good software) without bloatware and adware.
Some rummer says it has D9000 and 12 MP ultrawide camera sensor.
one more thing, optimized selfie camera (32MP or 44MP or 60MP)

Don't buy from Realme UK. Customer support is nonexistent and if you want to RMA your device it gets sent to a third party. I sent my phone back to them 2 weeks ago and still haven't had an update.

Everyone’s saying it’s gonna explode and that charger is gonna be the size of a book but if you look at 200W Redmi note 12 charger it’s actually pretty normally sized. Gallium nitrate chargers are really small. Also it’s not gonna explode bro. Otherwise they couldn’t sell it- and tech has evolved since the Galaxy note 7

We need at least a thousand watts. These companies need to stop playing with rookie numbers.
