Why these OEMs and people are so obsessed with charging speeds. A 33w charger is enough for charging smartphones when at home or office and a 67w charger is more than enough for charging,that too in emergency situations.

That is like fast charger is improving charge cycle.
Isn't that 800 cycles normally.
And Xiaomi 210w is taking 9minutes too . What is the use of extra 30w?

In China, the number 4 is considered unlucky, since it sounds very similar to the word for death. So it's not used very often there (among phones, this mainly applies to BBK; Huawei and Xiaomi don't seem to care).

Longer-lasting batteries are more important than useless supercharging, which can only be charged at full speed with a dedicated charger

My recommendation of charging speed is 67 watts or 80 watts. I don't like use everyday more than 100watts charger. Much better using a more than 100watts charger for emergency only.

Joke aside, I'm satisfied with 45W and 67W fast charge and I think they are pretty fast already. I wish that phones battery had more durable and efficient charge cycles through the years.

240W is not enough for 2023. At least 512W for 2023. It is a big NO for me.

Everything over 80w is overkill. Just another Realme phone, that is gonna be replaced in 3 months.
