This trend is extremely dangerous, people are getting more stupid and careless about what they do with charging and batteries, putting blind trust in technology.
This will only bring increas of house fires...

Artem S. Tashkinov, 22 Jan 2023Looks like fewer than 10% of people here give a f* about th... moreYeah, charge your phone at 1 watt until 75% and lose 20% battery life. So you already from day one you lose 25%+ 20% after 4 years = 45%. And someone with fast charging who charge to 100% percent has no loss in the beginning and after 4 years 50% battery lost. Good decision you made there. 😂😂😂 I will go with fast charge.😏😏😏.

Not buying phones based on charging specs.

The battery should be consumable and should be (relatively) easy to replace by the user.
In this case, no one would have to worry about how fast a quick charge would kill the battery.
And companies would make money on batteries. OK, a little bit less than on disposable phones :)

Man Or A Monster, 22 Jan 2023How are phone manufacturers gonna eat if they improve batte... moreExactly this

The best kind of fast charging is the one that you can control. Some phones like my current phone, Zenfone 9, has extensive battery care system build into it so i have the option to charge at lower speed (30W, 18W or 10W) and scheduled it so the phone does it's trick by slowly charging the phone overnight and reach full charge just a few minutes before you woke up.

Also, a quote from MKBHD video about fast charging "Battery these days are smart".

Used my phone for 3 years.
                                        75% battery health now.
It has 4000mah battery 20w fast charging and used to take 70-75min from 0-100 % and i don't always follow 80% charging rule.
I feel 5000mah battery is must with 45-60min charge time for my next phone.
