10min 20 to 80% is the bottom. 25W nai wa~.
Basically enough when you stop caring about speed and start to think "I got to plug this and that with my hand".
It should be at leats on lvl of shazam: your phone's charged, your phone's charged, oops...

To be honest, we need 3,600W charger. Why shouldn't we charge our phones in just 0,01 second?
Jokes aside, the ideal for me is 25w even tho i'm using 67w one.

Replacing battery is faster than any "fast" charge. But people nowadays think being new and more complex is inherently better, instead of doing a proper comparison.

As long as your temperature durring charging remains around 60 celsius or less does not matter how fast charger you have.
You can have even 1000W/1000A and the effect on battery will remains same like using old garbage 5V/1A.

18W on my current phone feels slow.. I need at least 33W. I can't think of a 10W phone still around. Thankfully budget Chinese phones are now over 33W.

dbjungle, 22 Jan 2023IMO fast charging is just such a huge convenience factor. ... moreI think a fast and slow charging are both needed by a user but at different times. As someone else pointed out, whose phone has adjustable speeds, that can be the best solution to the charging speeds question, as the user can adjust it according to their needs

It also depends on... moreMan even a GSMArena team and many users of fast charging phones proved a fastc harging does not have impact on battery but temperature.
You can have even a 1000W / 1000A charger and support on your device as long as temperature remains under 60 celsius your battery will degrade equaly fast as on a phone with old 5W/1A charging speeds.

Again, imo a bit false premise. I want fast charging, but I want fast charging that is standard, eg USB-PD. I don't want those Chinese proprietary fast charging that is only usable using their bulky charger.

Midrange chips only last a while when they're able to handle most of apps and tasks, after that it becomes slower
When I bought a moto flagship, it could run PUBG mobile without much problems, but 2 years later, it could barely handle the app. Constant app and OS updates slow down a phone, it slows them faster in mid-range and even faster in affordable phones

Anonymous, 22 Jan 2023The ones always vouching for fastest charging are usually t... moreIMO fast charging is just such a huge convenience factor. I adopted all of the QC adapters ASAP, but it seems to have stalled and now there are more proprietary solutions making the whole thing a mess. I would personally rather enjoy maximum convenience daily even if it means I have to go through the hassle of a battery replacement somewhere down the line. That being said, I'm still using a Pixel 6a because the software experience is even more important than the charging speed.

I don't care for ultra-fast charging as much as I care about high battery life and passthrough capabilities. Bump all of those 4Ah phones to 5.5Ah and the same increase for all current 5Ah devices to 6.5Ah. Then a proportional increase on the charging speed so it CAN be full within 70min.

Narazumono, 22 Jan 2023Of course people are gonna choose 15-30 mins
Those people ... moreMan which people???
Since dash charge came to the world in 2017 the only battery problems brands were Apple famous battery gate and a battery switch and a Note 7 by Samsung and even now Samsung and Apple dont use fat charging.
Many people including me uses fast charging phones for several years since 2017 and have no issues with phone or battery they just have issues with stupid people complaining nonsense about battery degradation and battery explosions when apart Note 7 and Apple this never been confirmed.
Many sites including GSMArena team proven that fast charging does not have impact on battery as long as temperature remains same as in any other charging.
But i really wonder even after 5 years there are still so many stubborn people saying othervise even if its a huge lie.

Anonymous, 22 Jan 2023Fast charging kills the battery so no It also depends on... moreI don't know if I would say a $200 phone has a life span of less than 2 years. I have bought a lot of phones over the years and currently have 10 phones. I'm still actively using a Xiaomi Mi 8 SE that I bought in 2018. I paid $320 for mine, but a couple of months after I purchased it was selling for as low as $240.

All I expect from fast charging is to get at least 50% from half an hour of charging... The rest is unnecessary imo
Also, wireless for charging during the night, so I don't care how slow it's gonna be

One thing that manufactures should bring to the latest smartphone is Adjustable Power Output like my Zenfone 9.
So users can determine for themselves how many Watts will be used each time charging the battery, at least give an option like normal charging at 10 Watt, fast charging at 30 Watt or super fast charging at 67 Watt.
