30 January 2023
UFS 4.0 will be used only for higher 256GB capacity model. There may be other cut backs as well.

Im planning to buy new phone.
Confused between Nothing 1 & S21FE.
I absolutely hate MIUI,RealmeUI,ColorOS,FuntouchOS.
I need good overall phone with 2-3 softwares updates without bloat/ads.

I can get Nothing 1 for ₹21,000 or S21FE for ₹31,000.
Does S21FE worth the extra price of ₹10,000.

Rather usb 2.0 and 200+W charging than opposite so USB 4.0 and 15-20W charging.
Samsung is stupid to not give modern technologies.
And they lost all bravery since note 7.

Anonymous, 30 Jan 2023Should've put in WiFi 7 at least. I wonder if the base... moreIn the past, they used the base and Plus model to promote Ultra ... Now they are stripping down the 'base' flagship, what a joke!

And at theses prices, no less ... I'll keep my S22U 512, which I kinda regretted since my Note10+, to be honest. Shame on you Samsung 🙈

Can we please just gang up on Samsung so that they unlaunch the 128GB we should encourage them to not go the Apple route of having a useless or ghost base option. I don't see anything wrong with having 2 phones that are $50 apart. Keep the 256gb the same price and yeet the 128gb.

            Flagship with SLOWER MEMORY ?????
No wonder Samsung sales are falling.....

MRSTEK, 30 Jan 2023I am not sure what you are arguing about, my point of view ... moreThe reason why people hate 888 and 8Gen1 is that they are based on **unstable and inefficient** Samsung process. The TSMC-manufactured Qualcomm flagship chips have always been stable and capable since 2015. See 8+ and 8 Gen1, I think anyone with basic reasoning skills can derive the truth that the true problem of Qualcomm SoCs(at least in the recent two years) is the Samsung process.

Anonymous, 30 Jan 2023I can’t wait. Just two days now. Samsung is the best. I love Samsung. I wish I could give them a hug

So what do you mean? I never deny that 888 performs worse than 865, while 8Gen2 is way better than 8Gen1,even 8+. These can be confirmed by users.

"the 128GB UFS 4.0 packages might not perform on levels worthy of the “UFS 4.0” label"

So you publish an article stating that Samsung UFS 4 uses new NAND that is faster and power efficient, and then justify this saying it's not worth the label?

The Snapdragon 888 is an improvement over the 865 in every category*
The Adreno 660 targets 35% faster rendering performance while increasing power efficiency by 20% *
Where that efficiency ? They showing incorrect numbers?

This is why I switched from Samsung. They deliberately nerf their base models, charge more and hope no one will notice. They are the Apple of Android.

It's a pretty solid secondary phone, however it would be painful to use a phone without any HRR capability and only 6GB ram as daily driver.
