Th... moreCompact phones CAN have decent battery.
Example: Sony's Xperia 10 IV.
Problem is, people want the phone to be as powerful as a laptop but for the fraction of its size, which leads to the use of power-hungry chipsets instead of efficient ones.

Olympus Oms, 30 Jan 2023They said the s23 series. who said that? the rumour mill! because the phone are not even official yet.
We will find out soon enough, but I cant see the lower spec models getting 256gb as base storage, obviously it will be good news if it does though and maybe a sweetner for the price hikes

I remember a time giving damn about these type of new releases. It's good to see greed associated corporate malpractice is still very prevalent, if anything it has increased from yesteryears.

One more reason to skip the 128GB version or at least wait until the price drops considerably.

I think the smaller s23 will be removed next year, judging how much samsung cares for it

Since these scummy companies removed the SD card slot i have no choice but to transfer the files on my computer
If they wanna take away the slot they should atleast have the audacity to put the fastest transfer speed currently available - Samsung didn't get the memo it seems

Wow! Here goes my plan to purchase it. I'm going to let the pre-order coupon expire and get refunded back to me. I ain't buying the mammoth-ically heavy Ultra and most certainly not the inferior plus model, which doesn't even have a 400PPI display density, let alone a half decent LTPO screen and haptic motor.
The S23 series is no longer under consideration & can now go to hell, for all I care. Will wait for the OnePlus 11 or the Xiaomi 13 series to be launched.

Anonymous, 30 Jan 2023Flagship means it is the most powerful one. S23 Ultra i... moreHope these rumors aren't true. Hard to justify increasing the cost while shifting to using essentially the same tech they've used for the last 3 phones. Apples skus generally don't change outside display tech and storage. If Samsung is cutting more corners to change antenna's and storage speeds, that can put Samsung in bad water with consumers. One can also argue that with trade ins, you are getting a $200-500 "flagship" which you really get with the Pixel 7
