Hold down the Volume Up button and the Power button for about 10 seconds.
You should feel 3 vibrations. This will turn your phone off.
Wait a couple of seconds, 20 or so.
Hold down the Power button for about 3 seconds.
This should turn the phone on again, and this time the screen should come on too!

hey. my xperia z3 compact is about a month old and just died yesterday. and i thought it was some software prob. even right now im trying to make it come back to life. but no luck at all. just about to give this phone to my brother. what a bad luck to have this phone. sigh...

i would be crashing mine any time soon.xperia z3 compact,its dead for three days now,red light and screen flashing on and off every second. i have tried everything to no avail,phone just a month old. feel wasted.

YOU'R KEEP TRYIN TO BEAT THE BEST BUT IN REALITY YOU DONT SEE HOW TO BE THE BEST.

Same problem happen to me also. 1year ago i buy and use z1 and the problem start about half year later and happen till now. Last 3 month when i update my z1 kit kat to lolipop my z1 became more worse and useless. Last 2 month i change the battery because i think maybe battery problem but it still do the same problem :- when the battery above 90% my z1 will shutdown but yesterday more worse when battery at 94% it suddendly shutdown on it own for no reason.Until now,, infront of me. It still wont turn on. Man!! Really want to smash my z1 on the desk till it became 10 part. Feel annoying with this problem now... Dunno how to solve it. 1 year problem n tryin to solve it but. I give up already. Waste my money buyin this thing before

This is one of the worst mobile I found in Sony brand. I purchased this mobile a month ago and phone switched itself off, afterwards blank, nothing, not restarting, no recharging, not responding to hard reset. DEAD.. You don't have any other go, you have to submit your phone to service center. I did this and I received after 15 days and after 4 hours again phone got shutdown by itself. And for this model Sony service guys wont provide any stand by phone. I had worst experience with this mobile. During first time they told we replaced few parts of your mobile! its not even a month they are giving all these reasons.. again my phone is not in working status. WORST PHONE I HAVE EVER BROUGHT! Service guys are worst in Koramangala Service center Bangalore.

My sony xperia z3 compact d5833 is working on well since I bought it three months ago. But now it display nothing but turns on. I can't unlock it because i can see nothing. Applications are running but screen is totally 90% black. It is charging too. I have not drop it on the floor of even in water. Sad to say I wasted more 500 dollars on it. I tried every possible solution people said working but does'nt

I bought Z3 6653 two weeks ago and all of a sudden it stopped working. wont switch on no matter how hard i try. Tried evry possiblities but in vain :(

Ma Z1 compact after update to lollypop is takin ages now to charge up and runnin out quicker than a wean in trouble wae mother fur doggin school. Can someone help please. Thank you 😵🔨

i updated my xperia z1 this morning and after the update i can no longer see the icons and what's worse is that the lock button doesn't seem to work as well. What am i going to do?

My Sony M2 Aqua has this bug and I rang the phone to see if it would spring into life . And now can't stop it ringing its been at it all day cannot take the battery out as it is watertight. I did however download the latest software yesterday which downloaded ok !
