I'm Iranian, I bought a Xperia Z3, yesterday but my phone will be warm after about 10 minutes, is this normal?

My charging indicator and the word "charging" are just flashing. There is no time indication until charge anymore, the charge indicator percentage is stuck at 87%. The same thing in dock or via wall charger.
After a hard reset (pressing on+power up for 8 seconds) it shows 91% and its moving again and show time until charge again.

hi, i have an xperia z3 dual, i just had it full charged, then used it as usual, suddenly the phone died and i cant restart it, it wont even charge, just indicating a red led, when i put it on the charging dock it shows the battery indicator in the screen then it just flashes the Sony logo on and on, this happened just a few hours ago and i plan to send it back to the store or the repair shop where they will endorse me to. I just had the unit for 5 days, this is the worst i encountered with Sony.

I have the same problem of Z3Compact in Thailand. It was automatically switch off and waited about 1-3 hours to turn on. After 5 times happened, now it has been dead.

same problem here, I was using Z1C and I upgraded to Z3C on 06/04/2015, only two weeks start to shutdown after 2 or 3 hours then I though due to low battery , same thing happened next day, I reset via PC compn,still problem remain , then i took to the phone shop on 24/24/15, evening he gave it to me after flashing sw, then suddenly it goes off still problem remain , my friend from Germany using same model luckily he don't have any problems . please advice even I can't sell it to someone bcz it's goes off after few hours :(

SL, 17 Apr 2015I Had my Z3 Compact for about 5 or 6 month now, and yes, th... moresame here, I also had my Z3 compact which I bought in Malaysia for about six months now and it overheat a lot and experienced sudden death. the sudden death happened so many times. When it shut off sometimes it cannot be turned on immediately and I kept trying pressing the power button + volume up button until it turned on. Even after I updated it to lollipop the problem still persist.
I read in so many online review which include this phone as one of the best phone. Is this a JOKE?!!! a phone with a lot of problems!!???
With so many case happens I think Sony should recall and shall replace or refund this phone and acknowledge that this phone has hardware and/or software problem.

I have had the same shut down problem with my sony xperia ZL when I used the camera flash & didn't start, just opened it, removed the battery connector & reconnected, now it works fine, avoid camera flash is what I am doing now.

I Had my Z3 Compact for about 5 or 6 month now, and yes, the system jammed while watching a youtube vídeo. I press power button to turn off and it did, but while starting up, it failed. It took like 30 min to come back on, and when it did.. it seemed ok, at the other day .. id died for sure.. and never came up again. I wonder if it is any software or hardware issue. Hope Sony can find out a solution for this kind of problem, because it is disapointing to buy a high end Cellphone that has problem.

There was still 50% battery. I kept the phone on the table and it stops working suddenly. I tried my level best to restart the phone but unfortunately remain unsuccessful. I really dont want any idea about it. If anyone can help please let me know. And what update will bring the changes in the phone. Will it start my phone again? Bullshit!!

My second hand Z1 compact shuts down at least once a day. The reset works ok, but it shouldn't be needed. Its a great phone other than this glaring fault.

Open up the small area for the sim card and next to the sim slot is a small yellow button.use something thin to push on it and hold for a few seconds.
Helped my situation.
Phone still sucks though haha

i am geting mobile on 14.1.2015 and with in 10 days bluetooth and wi5 nothing working and yestrday battery is full and i am hearing song for 20 min after is got full heat and with in 20 min batter percentage is 60% i switc off but heat fully in mobile with in 1 hrs totally battery dead and mobile is not working

Hi. I am from Malaysia.
I bought my Sony Xperia Z3 Compact on 1.12.14 and yesterday 15.1.15 it was suddenly death around 11am to 12pm. Then i press the on button and it is on only for few second. When i try the same method on that night. I manage to restore my setting. After done the restoring process. And now. It was completely death. I even hold the on button in at least 30min and nothing was happen. What the..
I wonder why Sony create their latest product without noticing this kind of problem. Now. I am back using my old Xiomi RedMi Note only cost RM500.00 compare to my Sony Xperia Z3 Compact that cost me RM1890.00 that are now in Repair Center.

Got my sony xperia z3compact last october. I woke just up one morning (lastweek)it won'turn on. I'm really sure it still has the battery power around 92%. Its not charging too. The led light doesn't flash when plugged to the charger..
