All I can say is that I switched to Google, and it's a bland, frustrating, and unhappy experience against the Huawei phone I used before. Huawei's expertise in making phones has no bearing over what shady stuff it does, even if you somehow believe it does.
As long as that's reality, I will always see this conflict as unfair handicapping. I will thus always resent the American government for kicking Huawei back to China. Because the winner is America's politics, and the losers are the smartphone industry as a whole and the customers.

This is so pointless.
If Huawei counts as a spy company or a threat for any reason, then so does Google and Apple and basically every single tech company ever.
The only reasons for those restrictions are money and politics. And more money.

That's why we should never let a country monopolizing the tech and financial system. With Huawei and more potential Chinese manufactures out of the field then Apple and Samsung will continue with their miniscule upgrade cycle while charging more and more each year.

When you see a leading country doing this stuff ... know that it empire is declining .
one thing to note that chart is totally misleading , the max speed of 1 spatial stream on Wi-Fi 6/6E 160mhz is capped at 1.2Gbps .... the same goes for Wi-Fi 7 at 320Mhz capped at 2.4Gbps .
meaning those numbers for 9.6Gbps & 46 Gbps are for 8 spatial stream and 16 respectively.

Huawei is seen as a threat as they are China's most advanced technology company and the US is trying to slow down China's technological development. So far other Chinese smartphone companies are not seen as that much of a threat as they basically don't develop their own processors and network technology
