Thin Sony device + powerful processor isn't a great idea. They've never really gotten cooling down. Even their cameras suffer sometime

Even with all the S23 hype, especially for the Ultra, I won't be coming back to Samsung in a foreseeable future.

          If this one will have sdcard slot this will be my next phone..
          Please make it good camera..

            Horrible color handling. Zero noise canceling mics. Extremely low volume, with vibration as compensation.

            Not really that "hot". But the square screen without round corners is good.

            Sony phones turns Asians extremely yellow in skin color, and that's a sign of extremely bad color handling. Watch Tokyo drift on any of the latest Sony phones, and you will see the proof.

                    WhatSAComputer, 03 Feb 2023I don't understand the 21:9 being such a deal breaker,... moreThe problem is that the Xperia 1 IV is super tall (165 mm). Also, the aspect ratio of the screen of the S22+ is 19.5:9. The S23+ also has a 19.5:9 screen.

                      I'm waiting for the 5 V because of its size, although the 1 IV (hence 1 V should be) is also okay for me. Just hope the 5 V can have all the same cameras as the 1 V again

I mean the black bars seems to a deal breaker but in reality it's not that much of an annoyance. And any aspect ratio will give you black bars. I use the Xperia 1 and the aspect ratio is great
