Also, sonys are not meant for people who have to rely auto mode without photography knowledge. An eye for photography and avoiding backlit still has more impact on a photo than some shitty "AI Hurr Durr" stacking algorithm

Not everyone needs an overprocesseed image stacking and overdone sharpening crutch to shoot good photographs. Also, have you seen the battery runtime of the Xperia 10 IV or Xperia 5 IV? Rather industry leading in the android world than any else. Same with goodies like prevent charging during gaming or above a certain level, to less damage the battery. Display is 4k so they're more leaders than anything behind. It's just common sense or physics that a 4k display can't get as bright and with the bravia engine it still looks better than any other display.

What Sony needs is to release this sooner rather than later. They always had the bad habit of releasing their phones so close to the next iPhone, which is a rather dreadful strategy IMO.
And improve the camera software, was always a stuttery mess.
