The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ and Gen 2 were big upgrades in that regard over their predecessors. Also, Dimensity 8000 series does steadily improve this aspect and is very efficient. Geekerwan is a good YouTube Channel if you want more information. They also explain why SoC efficiency was not so good in the last two years. It was mainly because of ARM‘s v9 cores and Samsung‘s 5nm and 4nm process iirc

Samsung should just forget about this exynos thing and I don't see why they keep forcing it and stuff .
My 1280 is here performing like my Huawei Y9a's HelioG80 when I nought this A53 under the impression I've upgraded..... give us a break ....... I'm buying no Samsung with Exynos again!!
Huawei has been blacklisted and here you are with the freedom and free will but yet still can't compete!!

Dkj195, 07 Feb 2023I mean tsmc is by far the most efficient one out there Its not by far usual difference are between 10 up to 30% depend with test done. People overblown difference between 8+ gen 1 and 8 gen 1, most of time they dont consider throttling done.

The Reaseon you see Current Flagship soc Overheat is because of bad Arm designs, just look at midrange Sd 780, Exynos 1280 etc they are good soc. Even Some Gpu like Rtx 3xxx series, Former flagship soc like sd 845 used Samsung node.

I believe in people not in some kind of diploma.
In other words if person proves he is capable and have will to do i can f*ck over some diploma and would gladly employ that person even if he wasnt finnished any school or so.

Why they are not working on stability of chipset, only seems like war for who will manufacture lower nm chip first... And shockingly No one is working for better battery performance..

Too much work for something that's going to fail spectacularly, like Hindenburg baloon, the Exynos and it's weaker cousion Tensynos explosion is going to be massive.
