MediaTek Helio G36 announced - G37 with 100MHz lower CPU clock

The new SoC will power an upcoming entry-level gaming smartphone set to launch in India.

Unisoc is the only option for entry level /low end

As I read someone else say .. the t606 should be bare minimum

These g37 already lags for normal app opening/normal use

It's a shame the low end market has the most victims ..the most uneducated consumers and we don't have any review sites that put effort in covering this segment

Everyone understands flagships and midrangers but low end is not understood

                my expectation is ultra budget 4g chip set is helio g50 with 7nm 2x2.5ghz cortex a73 6x 2ghz, gpu mali g58mp3,
                but its rubish g36 >:(

Plenty of Budget soc T310, T606, G70, G80 sd 680 etc

                                Lol G series are budget level soc don't expect too much guys, i mean I'm rocking G90T that i can say is a good mediatek soc then after that idk what happened, i guess G95 and G96 is good too, i also own redmi pad with G99 I'd say from experience G95/G96 is better for gaming for it's G series, but one thing i like about G99 is that it is very energy efficient like dang good keeping your battery up for a full day use no problem right there, tablet with 8000mah coupled with G99 6nm fabrication is the sweet spot for long usage, but I'm curious whether they'll make it more gaming oriented this year, and i mean by actual bump in performance, because G99 is already good at battery life so why not the next gen focus on performance right

                                  This processor will be a target for budget Infinix, Oppo Nokia etc

                                  The G series is only good above the G80. With most of the already Cortex A75-A76

                                    ...if it's just a G37 but slower, then what's the point? It might be slightly cheaper, but it'll be so little of a difference that manufacturers will probably just use the G37 unless their budget somehow won't allow them.

                                      This is a joke right? At least they could made it in 6nm and call it a improvement. I think this marketing strategy can't foolish people anymore.
