Wrong. That was if Apple was going to make 1 unit of iPhone 14 Pro Max. But as they buy the components in very large quantities, these prices are going to be much lower than 474...

Last year gmsarena posted article of info the BoM from 13 pro 256GB was $570.
No way 14 pro max 128GB is $450 only.

A little cheaper than the Xiaomi 12s ultra which cost $516 for the build of materials. However the cost for those has probably dropped as it's quite a while sinch launch. Most top flagships are going to cost a similar amount for the components. Perhaps the Galaxy s23 ultra will be a bit more expensive than the others at present but not by much

For comparison the 256 gb S23 ultra is 1400€ (around the same price as the S20 ultra when it first launched) while the 256 gb S22 ultra was 1200€ (around the same price as the S21 ultra when it first launched)

Transportation cost is for every brand and it's not something to brag about like there transport is some higher class or something that cost more. What is overhead ? And what fixed cost ?
Only research they do is to get there materials cost down so they can ask even more from customers to cover it.
