MediaTek announces Dimensity 7200: its first 4nm midrange chipset

This is the chip maker’s first entry for its 7000 series lineup of midrange chipsets.

This is upper midrange not just midrange.
It got litterary everything to coer flagship grade specs of some phones.
LIke better display, 200 Mpix cameras etc.
This one is definitely something worth to have on a phone which will not ruin your wallet.

    Looks like the Dimensity 8300 will be the one getting 2 A715 cores plus 2 A710 cores.

    I would buy that phone.

D7200 like mediatek says is above 7 Gen 1 and doesn't reach SD 888. In terms of what you said, yes, there are some upgraded features from the D8100.

            Competition is great, only thing i don't like is that smartphones with MediaTek has inconsistent camera performance, no matter the price of a smartphone it's still lacks behind.

                    This 7000 series is going direct to Sd 7 series

                            It's between a Snapdragon 870 and Snapdragon 888 in max GPU performance. Which is very impressive.

                                    Nice one. Hope to replace sd 778g which become boring in every way. Still, in performance, can't compete with sd 870, but that one is in more expensive devices. So, i hope to see this one in sub 300€ category, maybe in next global Redmi note 12 series.
