In usabily, a flat screen is far better than a curve one, and I coming from S22U to S23U for that exact reason. The edge are better and screen 'flatter'. Better :)

The iPhone 12-13 design is literally the worst
This trend of making flat phones is stupid and anti ergonomic as despite how good some people might think they look, they in fact are the most uncomfortable phones you'll ever hold
Let's go back to the iPhone 6-11 era when phones actually felt good to hold

Incredible how much a miniscule adjustment can change the entire experience.
It's so much better that one wonders why they did not come up with this to begin with.
Also: how great it looks to have the side rails blending into the backplate seemlessly.
Very much reminiscent of iPhone 5 C, which i always like because of that...
Will possibly not make it into production because of wireless charging (which i would scarifice just for the looks, as insane i must apparently be)... But for a "cheap" iPhone ("wooden class")?

I fully understand that all the front camera hardware Apple has is gonna be bulky, but could they at least make the hole punch smaller? It looks like it comes from some knock-off phone cuz of the size

Good lord what is that camera bump..? Not just the size but the shape as well... I was so excited for USB-C since I've avoided Lightning cables for all these years and thought maybe now's the time to switch to an iPhone...
There's no way that thing is easy to put in and take out of pockets of regular, slim (not even skinny) fit jeans or whatever. It's gonna snag on the piping every time unless I put it in a chonker of a case.

I am not confident that this is curved enough to be comfortable. Maybe slightly better, but the Apple Leather cases will probably feel about the same, which means noticeably worse than when the iPhone 6 to 11 curve was around.
The slightly smaller size is slightly better as well, but not small enough in my opinion. And it will most likely weigh over 200g again. Nobody ever complained about the 5.8 inch iPhones. If we could just get the size, shape and weight of the iPhone X back. Also, the glossy glass looked better. I think a 5.8 inch standard iPhone (not Pro) with the aluminum frame for lower weight, and the curvature of the iPhone 6 or at least 5c, would have a lot of fans.

Amongst my many phones, I do have an iPhone 13 which I probably haven't used more than 2 weeks because iOS is straight garbage, but... The most positive thing I can say is that it has one of the best designs on the market. Curved frames do nothing for me. I wish all phones were as flat as the iPhone 12 - 14. I would also prefer the corners of many phones to be much less round, something more like the Pixel 6 and 6a. IMO this 15 Pro design is more of a regression.
