          Explain us why this phone reached 54.9 celsius (130,82 fahrenheit) while charging and did not remain below 30 like slow charging?
          Doesnt it have ultra advanced high tech ppl here claim non-chinese OEMs lack?

          I want to see phone charge at 200W, but below 35 celsius. Show me.

            sa11oum, 28 Feb 2023Serious question, how awful is battery life on these device... moreIts all about having choices. Its better to have option for fastest changing available when the user need to be in hurry rather than having no option at all and have to wait 1 hours to just get 80% charge.

            Despite some commenters here making asinine arguments like they are being forced to use fast charging, users can always charge their phones with any other lower wattage QC 3.0 charger if they prefer to do so.

              Yeah safety reasons is why I said even 165w even 210w

              It's more scary too me then anything it's such a rushed technology and I don't consider it myself be innovation or improving

              300w just plan getting too the point of overkill 5 minutes changing that poor battery health heat

              Why can't we improve or change batterys I know there a technology with battery makes them last much longer

              But we rather upgrade the changer not the actual problem the battery it's self

              Basically want better battery advanced technology too happen with a break though so a solution is find that makes battery better
              just bigger battery anyways on top of that sure doesn't hurt future proof battery life littte
              I like too see as well

              fast charging a bad idea is clearly a byproduct of a problem that it doesn't fix
              People only care about fast charging because there battery life on there phones is crap and keeps running out
              The problem is battery life is too short in first place so they keep reaching for that changer for top ups of battery
              But if you're out all day long you see you got problem now if no plug available for recharge again again let again
              Too many change cycles hurts battery plus overheating

                IpsDisplay, 28 Feb 2023That's strange... 1)Article about ultra fast chargi... moreDont be dumb. Nobody thinks it is gonna explode.
                It is about battery lifespam. The huge heat is harmful.
                Cant u see this?

                Change your name to oled.

                  That's strange...

                  1)Article about ultra fast charging: NO!! we want battery improvements!! Fast is bad battery gonna explode!!!!!! 100+ comments

                  2)Article about actual battery improvement (honour silicon battery): almost NO appreciation in sight 49 comments, complains that the improvement isn't enough

                  How comes I don't see any of the nay sayers giving positive feedback or support to articles about battery improvements.. 🤔

                    Honestly I doubt 1kw charging will actually become a thing, not because the battery would actually have a chance of exploding (unless it's built incredibly strong) - but because it would be hell on your electric bill if you keep the charger on by accident.

                      next

                      2024 = 350w realme charger (100% charged in 4 minutes)

                      2025 = 500w Redmi charger (100% charged in 1 minute)

                      2030 = 1000w ??? charger (100% charged in 1 second only ;> )

                        I'd like to see 1 kilowatt charger for phone which will bring us from 0_100 in 30 to 45sec
                        they should figure out the phones battery life too which is important than the time of charging .

                            So Xiaomi and Redmi are responding to other brands by making a phone with ridiculous hardware in a very very good price, and yet they don't pay attention to their crappy software?? How sad. :(

                              Funny it just amazes me to see these fanboys defending archaic slow charging tech in 2023 😁

                              Even the big boys from XDA Developers are sick of slow 🐢 charging;

                              "Both Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro trail behind the competition in the charging department. The Pixel 7, in case you're wondering, supports 20W wired charging, while the Pixel 7 Pro tops out at 23W. These charging speeds may look decent for an iPhone user, but they're painfully slow when you compare them with the charging speeds offered by other Android flagships from the likes of OnePlus. The newly launched OnePlus 11 can fully top up the battery in just 25 minutes. Expecting 65W or 80W charging speeds from the next-generation Pixel phones would be wishful thinking, but I'd like them to start somewhere and at least compete with Samsung's 45W charging speeds. Having to wait for almost two hours for your phone to charge is a bit of a hard pill to swallow." -XDA

                                If Redmi wants to wow me with the fast charge, they should shift to batteries with bigger capacities (graphite) first. I'm ready to accept 150w+ charging of it means I'll wait for my 8-10k mAh will charge in 30 min.

                                  Serious question, how awful is battery life on these devices that manufacturers feel the need to let us charge them back up this quickly? If you have a smartphone that has a battery that lasts all day, why do you even need any kind of fast charging?

                                    Maybe I just don't understand, but why would anyone ever need that? As a matter of fact, why would you ever need fast charging of any kind AS LONG AS your smartphone has all-day battery life? Just charge it overnight as slowly as it wants...? And it will last you all day...

                                      Anyway for me is much better longer battery life than charging speed. I miss old times with Nokia 3310 and 14 days no charging..
