I often find it hard find specific specs

Like get storage in a phone
It's says 4.0 ufs storage but that's normally all I can find out about a phone by looking at the spec sheet online

But I often want too know what the brand name of storage is
As well as the read write speeds are how big the cashly is
          With or without dram buffer
          Has or don't have dram
          The storage endurance rating

          In the case of ram
Phones only say what speed and amount of ram they have

I don't know what brand there from
If the ram is in dual channel or not
          Ram lattneacy

I wish it was made really clear about what spec phones have before I buy a phone

Instead of not really knowing how good a phone is as there is a lot of unknown information

For example, screens have codes. By the code you know if it is from samsung or LG oled.

Chinese phones have many local pieces to keep prices lower. Pieces made in China less than 400km from them, so they do not pay import taxes on these components.

[deleted post]Yes, still some here claims Apple is fancy brand to justify prices.
Fancy brands are ones that make stuff out of the reach of poor and midclass.

As predicted, this is now taking up the path of One+.
Initially even One+ started as a flagship killer ( flagship experience at affordable prices) and then moved on to premium segment.
One+ started with Indian market, established itself and then moved onto US and other markets.
Nothing is going similar way. First affordable phone and then premium phone, first establish self in Indian market and 5hen move to US.
I will not be surprised if we get to know that - Nothing has decided to merge with OPPO for a better and smooth operations and quick updates.

Carl Pei said a lot of things about why his company chose a mid-range chipset for its first phone, including things like "phones have reached a point of good enough performance for general tasks and more powerful chips have diminishing returns".

Remembered this from an old item about Nothing (1)..😁
