Please Qualcomm
It would be much better if 2xA715 + 6x A510 inside
Quite enough for me, I still use a smartphone with 720G and the battery life is awesome

I also saw In Geekerwan test sd 8 gen 1 sustained perfomance, in his Chinese chanell first sd 8+ gen 1 review he tested Xiaomi 12s pro and Ultra, while pro had better sustained perfomance you can clearly see Realme Gt 2 pro with with sd 8 gen 1 has betfer Sustained score than 12s ultra with sd8+ gen 1.

Search this title 骁龙8+性能分析:高通翻身了?小米12S系列功耗如何?around 7:14 mark.

In my Opinion i think Oems went aggresive to get better battery life and throttle sd 8+ gen 1 a lot so that they can gain trust after sd 8 gen 1 issues.

Looks very promising.....a very capable competitor to d8200 and also a true midranger....

In any case Samsung fabrication is just that bad, tsmc always do the clean-up whenever Samsung did a woopsie doo, I'd rather have tsmc doing my chips rather than Samsung nowadays, but i really do hope Samsung will be better in the future, it's not the end they just need some good tuning and a lil bit tweaks here and there they'll be great again

It all comes down to software implementation whether they underclock/ run in full performance of the chipset. Plus GSMArena isnt doing a separate test of the battery life of the phones running at only 60hz, only 90hz/120hz, only 144hz and so on. They just run it on auto mode(which isnt reliable for me cuz it depends on the software whether they run it in max refresh rate or not). I've been reading GSMArena test since 2019 and i notice that their battery life test isnt as reliable as before. Read the reviews of samsung note 20 ultra, s20 ultra, rog 3 battery life review. It is the most complete bettery life review that i read

This is the only samsung-made snapdragon chip that is so efficient and stable. This chip got discontinued due to Samsung's poor yield causing snapdragon to make the less powerful 778g but made by tsmc(who has barely have yield issues)

It doesn't make much sense as they are going to launch SD 8 gen 3 (1+5+2 this time) too later this year. So, why not same gen together!

Hemedans, 10 Mar 2023Can you link this Video? Because this is more than Qualcomm... moreThe numbers are from his english and chinese channels, the numbers differ from one video to another and depending on the phone, the S8g1 uses as low as 9.2W to 10.8 watts for 3600 Geekbench 5 score vs the S8+g1 uses 5.8-6.3 watts for the same score. Also the S8g1 at 44 fps aztec ruins GPU test uses 8.6-10+ watts of power vs 5.7-6.3W on the S8+g1. These cpus supposedly dont have any architectural changes except S8+g1 being clocked higher. I have no clue why scores change depending on the phone, but we can definitely say that S8+g1 is at least 40% more efficient at mid to high clocks.
