You know google's highest revenue comes from ads and selling your data to various companies. They are not serious about their smartphone business.

5w charging is pathetic and is as useful as the 2mp depth sensor cameras.
Also, don't charge your phone overnight on a wireless charger.

Can't tell from the picture but is the camera housing flush with the back of the phone instead of a bump? That might indicate a bigger battery (🤞)?

Another ugly phone by google why???
This one like whole 6 and 7 series looks like a Ninja Turtle.
Only worse thing i saw past few days is latest blackshark.
And the ugly and boring equally same design outputte by last 5 years from apple and Samsung is following.
No innovation at all it looks like a food from kitchen nightmares from Gordon Ramsay series.

What's the freaking point of the wireless thing then if there's going to be a wire dangling out on the back of the phone? Not to mention the ergonomics will be horrible while doing that.

The 5W wireless charging is supposed to be for overnight charging or while you're doing, you know, literally any other thing except using the phone.

                  Eagerly waiting for Pixel 7a

Anton-, 11 Mar 2023You don't even have money for this or the other, hahahahahaI already have pixel 6a and I didn't like it so I'm not interested in Google phones anymore. It was not the question of I can afford it or not, I was telling you your spelling mistake. You took it personal, that's your fault.

Anonymous, 11 Mar 2023Ay mate it gets the work done, doesn't cost too much a... moreFrankly speaking, Exynos NEVER competed with Snapdragon. Your claim is invalid by lumping Exynos and Dimensity together.

Exynos premium SoCs are mainly used on Samsung devices in recent years(and some rare vivo/meizu devices), and no major Qualcomm customer would seriously consider using Exynos on premium devices because they compete with Samsung directly. Not to mention that they are really, really bad products.

Mediatek is another story. Before Dimensity, Helio wiped out Qualcomm processors in entry-level market, and Dimemsity forced Qualcomm to release better products. Have Samsung Exynos achieved those?

                        No.

Well 6a had OLED screen and 60hz so it's a bit improvement to 90hz but still it's like what you expect from 150 euro phone when it have OLED screen. I dont know the difference in AMOLED and OLED. Feels like lazy typing to take 2 signs off from front.

CPU is not a large update over 6a and i dont know much about camera as it was good enough on 6a so it be good enough on 7a

Also this 5W wireless is a joke. I had 5w wireless on Lumia 830.
Also 6a have 18W fast charging that is also a joke on this level of price point and to be a flagship phone when even Chinese phones pretty much have already 33W like a standard speed.

I still wait when this come out and hope 6a drops a bit more on price. There is like only 1 thing i like about the phone is that it's more compact then my phone as i would lose like 6mm on tallness of the phone and gain something like 1.01 inch on screen. But i lose 3.5mm jack and on this price i expect 120hz screen even tough i dont need it but it be nice to have if i buy new phone where most modern day phones have it on 120hz on that price range. Also i can find a case for 6a that will make the rear totally flat so the camera pump wont make the phone wobble on a table or have one side up more so it can affect the flip screen function

Also it's not even a flagship chip on these Pixel phones. 6a gives 700k in Antutu v9 while Tensor G2 is around 760k while 8 gen 1 is like over 1 million points or even 1.1 million points. In snapdragon world 750k antutu bench score is like top end of middle class or 3-4 years old flagship.

This 6a and 7a looks like Iphone SE that is also basically stripped everything but only have the latest cho and ok camera on it and then still ask insane number for price for it.

I think i wait it's release then see what price the 6a is going for an i probably will still go with Poco x5 Pro cause of the 120hz screen, 67W fast charging and 3.5mm jack and IR blaster as i sometimes use my phone as tv remote. It even have the micro sd card slot but i dont care for that. Well yeah with 6a i would get to android 15 as with poco probably 13 will be it's only android update or in some crazy chance it gets 14 too. It's just the problem with Pixel that it cost too much and dont have anything special while with poco on a bit lower price like 20 euro less i get a lot more in hardware even tough sd788 is weaker then tensor that is in 6a.

I dont also care for water resistance on phones as i dont live in water world and water damage is something i dont need to worry about. Same like dust when i have the phone in case anyway so i can close up the holes for water and dust to protect the phone

Comments be like: I hate this cause this and this.

                              Still buys it 🤷🏻‍♂️.

And people still want a complete flagship phone for $300 or something. Pixels are already priced well within acceptable pricing. Not like you expect them to perform miracles.

Kids are spoiled these days if they're complaining about these bezels, for a mid range device they're pretty good, especially considering we've only had ultra thin bezels for a couple of years. You realize the closer the screen is to the edge of the phone the higher the chance if it breaking? You have to have some trade off between durability and aesthetics. There's no satisfying the Instant Gratification Generation.
