Not expecting this to be cheap globally. The Mi 13 Pro alone sits at about $1199 plus minus. So expect this to be very Ultra and Pro Max territory.
Based on components rumour on either motherboard, cameras and everything in between, this will not sell cheap.

Considering they don't use stock Android or any stock Android related features at least their UI is more up to date. Tho buggy at times. Still technically a "software update".

If i was after something with good resale id go Apple.
Samsung is behind in tech and always on sale. Resale value is also crap hence I'd rather pay top dollar for a Xiaomi that's actually exciting rather than an incremental upgrade.

You obviously haven't used a Xiaomi flagship! There are NO ads on the top tier stuff. Ads are on budget and some midrange to offset pricing. So check your facts before you misinform others!

Here's a tip for you: Complain about ads in articles about Realme too because they are sending ads now after years trolling Xiaomi.

If you can afford $1000 phone, would you spend it on a Xiaomi? Doubt it. Even Chinese people don’t want a $1000 Xiaomi. Low prestige. If they can afford $1000, they buy Apple or Huawei.

It doesn't matter how much it will cost. It can cost 1500$ or it can cost 2000$.
But the cameras HAVE to be a lot better than OPPO Find X6 pro if it's going to be 200-300$ more expensive than OPPO. But from the leaks I saw it's probably going to be worse than Vivo x90 Pro + which you can now get for 900$.
Oppo has 5000mah + 100W charging, the Xiaomi is going to be 4900mah and 90W charging with smaller ultrawide sensor than OPPO and smaller telephoto sensor than OPPO and same main sensor as OPPO. And if you want 4 cameras go vivo x90pro plus like I said.
Price is going to be:
Xiaomi 13 Ultra 1500$ > OPPO FIND X6 PRO 1200$ > Vivo x90 Pro+ 950$ but performance is going to be like:
OPPO FIND X6 PRO> VIVO x90pro plus = Xiaomi 13 Ultra.
If I am right, then sorry, but nobody is going to buy the overpriced Xiaomi.

Xiaomi is greedy. My brazilian friend told me tbey overprice there. Mi note 10 was same price of S+ back then, way over $1000. While about 550 euros for EU.

Now thats why i hate xiaomi, but choosing realme, atleast when the data usage for some aps turned/switched off on the realme, its a 'true' turned off.

It makes my life no worse or ... more...for "blind consumers", tech specs is not the main driver to buy an Apple (most of them usually don't know too much about it) ....that brand is well positioned as "social elevator" due to the media and internet (youtubers, showbiz & media people, hipster and many other people) bombing people's minds thru all these years, and those people do not care spend a lot of money just to be seen with an iPhone 14 Pro in their hands...
...for "smart consumers" there is a whole world of tech brands giving us what we really need....the "best of the best" for every dollar/euro we spend.....

sm4rt4ss, 10 Apr 2023I've used and help to set up more than 20 global Xiaom... moreLying? He is NOT lying. Xiaomi was promised no ads for their flagship line back at 2020 here, in Indonesia. Turns out its just a PRANK and still go on. Yes the ads/data usage/wifi on the specific apps can be turned off, but gues what, i turned off the data usage on many apps, but when i turn on my data connection, i see the download speed jump until 7-10 MB FOR 1 MINUTES.! The ads just like forcing to appear. I tried to compared how much data i need in 1 month for my Mi 10T pro and galaxy m21, m21 JUST NEED 5 GB/month for casual gaming and streaming, and Mi 10T Pro NEED 17 GB/month for work and sort time social media, what d f***.!!!
